hcg and clomid -- i know a pro powerlifer who was having same issues -- he grabbed some hcg and now is a happy dad -

it took me almost 2 years to get my wife pregnat with my first daughter and we were going to give up trying when she fianlly got pregnat with my second daughter -

Thanks big lad, can I ask if you came off did pct then tried for two years, or did you use anything; hcg etc.

I'm thinking to keep trying for another 6 months or so since I reckon I've only been normalish for a couple months, then if after do the whole hcg/hmg thing

was off for my first child - didnt know much about pct then -- was on for my second -

for my second we payed more attention to my wifes cycle - when she was olvulating we made sure we had sex - try charting her cycles bro

I was on one of my heaviest cycles when I got my x-wife pregnant with my daughter.... It only takes one strong swimmer to make it happen.... lol Keep trying bro and don't get down about it... definitely also keep track of her ovulation cycle so you are making sure you are trying at the most optimum times.

Basically there seems to be a requirement for certain things present for sperm count to be normal; FSH mainly and to lesser extent LH and test. If any of these is ultra low then it can coincide with low sperm count.


My FSH and LH levels were at normal levels last time I checked and test was increasing so I don't think its those, could be a duff test result.

Ok...been down this road and back many times over. We tried for 5 years to have a baby. Delivered our first baby girl at 22 weeks, back in 2006. She didn't make it. After another 3 years of trying, we finally had our 2nd daughter this past Spring. First and foremost- your wife needs her blood drawn on about the 21/22 day of her cycle to see if SHE in fact ovulated. Once that comes back, you will have a clearer picture of what your path will be.

So, let's assume everything is ok on her end. Here are some scenarios that could still require. Last March we finally went to a fertility specialist. I took Clomid, and injectable hormones to help produce a healthy, large egg. I had to come back the morning after we had sex. They tested my "business", only to come back & tell me there were no sperm living, and there should have been. They said in vitro may be my only option. But, since I had a good egg, have the husband, spoo in a cup & come back tomorrow & they would do artificial insemination...So, I come back the next morning, and they said his sample was phenomenal!??! Couldn't believe it was from the same guy!! We finally got pregnant the 2nd month doing insemination. Furthermore, when he was tested back in March, the Dr had said his levels were almost to the below average side.

So, in answer to your question-yes, you can get different reading levels. Just an FYI- we did 2 inseminations the month that I got pregnant- Both times, he did a shot of HCG the night before. ;-)
