Nolva/Clomid affects on libido

Been reading alot about Clomid and Nolva as I am gonna be wrapping up my first cycle and will be doing my pct soon. Seems like there are quite a few people that favor Nolva over clomid for pct. Was just wondering how they affect your libido comparatively. Have heard/read that Nolvadex can be a little more harsh on your libido. Is this just a myth?

Most people use clomid with nolva. Your libido will be down coming off cycle so this combo should get you back to normal.

clomid sucks IMO. does not do as good a job as nolvadex in bringing your natural test levels back and has none of the sides of clomid.

Thanks for the reply liftsmore, will probs use both. That was actually my initial plan until I read about some of the sides of clomid which made me a little nervous. Then I read that Nolva will only block the estrogen and that I will need the clomid to raise my testosterone...

Sometimes it feels like the more research I do the more confused I become....haha Love this forum tho!! Been on a lot of them lately and this one seems like the best with people that actually know their sh!t!!!!

false. nolv does a great job at restoring natural test levels.

again, it does a better job then clomid.

I don't know if I fully agree with bouncer that nolva actually does a better job but I am one of the people that uses only nolva for PCT (when I come off that is...)... I have used both and didn't think the clomid sides were worth it and found I recovered just fine using nolva only...

your not gonna get much help from anything that doesn't suppress with regard to libido for a while. Of the two I'd take nolva alone

I have used both clomid and nolva together with no problems. the clomid sides are subjective, some love it and some hate it. I have always used both for PCT with no problems. Keep up the pct and you should start to see your libido come back in a couple weeks.

I've used clomid and nolva with great success.

Clomid does make you kind of emotional.

Thanks for the reply tballz. I think I am definitely gonna do a Nolvadex only PCT. The more I hear about Clomid the more I want to stay away from it!!

If I'm wrapping up an 8 week Dbol only cycle what would you guys recommend for a Nolvadex only PCT in terms of dosage and length of time?

I'd do 40/40/20/20

I would still go with clomid, I have used it with no problem and I think the sides are very subjective.
