Since I have been off and after doing this last comp I can only get in like 4 hours of sleep. I have tried all the the supps and over the counter things and Im not trying to take things that I will become dependent on so I was wondering what any of you tend to do if this happens. Any help or ideas would be great to hear I feel like a zombie I dont know if its from my body rebounding from my show or what I put on 18pounds in a week since the show but this has never happened b4. Thanks

Ambian CR will work but its a hypnotic so ya just might be up one night typing crazy shiat like I did yrs ago and dont realize it until the next day.
I was taking straight Ambian for sleep. The CR is timed released so its not as bad.
As for a natural alternative......I know none that have worked.
Dyphenhydramine is in Tylenol PM for sleep and may help. Get it through the Pharmacy-no script needed- and it doesnt have the adverse effects as Aceteminophine for the liver and its dirt cheap through the pharmacy rather than getting the exact thing off the shelf.

I have had sleep issues for several years and some nights are worse than others. When i'm on cycle it seems worse. Ive tried many things in moderation including ambien ,xanax and ativan. ambien works pretty good on an empty stomach but sometimes i wake up wide awake about 5 hours after taking it. It has a very short half life but is great for falling asleep fast. Xanax is quik acting as well and i was prescribed 0.5mg and it was too much and had me feeling groggy the next day. 0.25mg of xanax does a good job of keeping me asleep all night with minimal residual affects the next day. Ativan seemed to work great at 1mg taked around 1-2hrs before bed and just makes me sleepy and relaxed with no uphorea at all. I will take these meds as needed in total moderation when i am desperate for a nights sleep and no more than 2-3 nights a week. These drugs will cause dependency and tolerance if used continually so be VERY CAUTIOUS. I am scared to death of anything in the benzo family for fear of dependance. As of late i have been using herbal teas such as Sleepy Time and others wich have cammomile as the main ingredient. That tea and a small (tiny)amount of grated whole nutmeg(wich has a very powerful relation properties!)was working wonders and i thought i found a miracle potion. I would sleep like a baby all night and wake refreshed and full of energy the next day. This went on for about three weeks and BOOM a small hard lump under my nipple that was red and sore. It looked like a whitehead almost. Could it be GYNO? i quite drinking my herbal tea and within 2 days it was gone. A quike google search of these two products and BOOM ....phtoestrogenic activity of cammomile and progesterone effects of nutmeg!!!:fight: Back to the drawing board. I will try l-theanine isolate next as it sounds benign and has sedative properties. I have done moderately large amounts of test e,tren, deca you name it and never got a lick of gyno and only used tomoxifen for pct. Who would have known?:disagree:

I was getting so excited reading about the nutmeg etc, stuff I have not tried - and boom gyno ??? Shit man, wtf. I don't know for sure it was gyno. It almost looked like an ingrown hair or an infected pore but I would hate to end up with gyno. I have been off cycle and pct for about 3 months so I don't know what else would cause it. I have been looking for l-theanine on health food stores and can't find it. I can't wait to try it and will order it online soon. There are various herbs and suplements that do work to a certain degree. Melatonin comes to mind. I have a hard time calming my thoughts after a long day and haven't found anything healthy and safe long term yet. Drugs.com have some interesting concepts.

Why is there such negativity surrounding sleep meds? Ambien/sonata/lunesta all used properly(taken 1/2 hour before bed, empty stomach, without other activities before sleep) works wonders for millions of people...and if your worried about dependence take the lowest dose or cut the pill in half, example) start with ambien 5mg and cut them in half, 2.5 mg of ambien would be enough to assist you in sleeping and would reduce dependence issues
