As I continue to bench into the 455 mark and shurg over 600 I seem to see myself needing the Chiro more. (just 2 examples of weight)

I am on week 8 of cycle

    750mgs sus a week
    400 eq a week

    doing 6 month cycle..

I go twice a week and it helps, but can't seem to keep back in tact...

you guys find this to be a side effect or just heavy weights?

I am obviously going for mass over cut look..

    I am 6 foot 261 bf at 18.6%

bottom line is this. that kind of weight is doing very little for your traps and putting enormous strain on your spine. you will need more then a chiro soon.

grab 125lb db's and do 3 sets 12 reps. do them slow and controlled.

your traps will grow more that way then you bouncing around 600lbs on a barbell doing nothing but harming your body.

Yeah, I feel it... trust me when I say I wont do them if I bounce... form is solid bro... arms, legs, shoulders, chest... I am all about form...

so no bouncing.. I bring up, and hold for 1 sec, then down... I will rep down for a bit though.. see what happens..

bouncer is completely correct...although those might be your personal goals, the weight you are doing is creating problems, there is no way the human body is meant to throw around that amount of weight...drop the weight and switch up your workout a little bit, and as a health professional chiropractors do have some value but require many visits to "fix" your problems that could not possibly be solved by them, in reality getting a massage 1-2x a week would be better for you and probably cheaper...

What I reccomend for you that has been working for me is 1 week I do 5 reps then the next week I do 12-15 reps, then the week after I do 8-10 reps, I write everything down to keep track of weights but it really helps me from going to heavy in my exercises, and I am pleased with my current results.

That's the thing though.. as a powerlifter, from everything I have read I need to go heavy. Grant it, im sure I need to go light and let my body rest, but I only lift each body part once a week heavy. The results I have seen have me a true believer. Thanks for your option though, I just need to get this back rockin again...

What Im gonn do is ride lighter for the next couple weeks.. top out at 375 on bench and 495 on shrugs (examples)

              then hit it hard again..

              holla..

Raider what kind of numbers do you pull with deads bro ? Btw - I have to see a chiropractor from motorcycle accidents, it really does suck, be safe man.

heres the thing about deads... do them every other and like squats I wont go heavy... 315-355 pending on the day...

for back I rock heavy on pulldowns, bent over pull ups, regular pull ups & rows..

I hear deads work your shape big time and all, but I have not grown to love them.

also, some of my back issues stem back to years ago I was rear ended hard... ugh.. so..I turned to weights to build up muscles in back which turned into wanting to grow muslcles all over!! ;-)

Raider as a power lifter (I am the 198 lb regional champ open class and masters) I like to do high volume between peak programs. Granted I lift above 70% most of the time. German High volume training has made me the heavy lifter I am. My last comp I hit 3135 kilos ( 1425 lbs) and I benched with a torn rotator cuff (I know bouncer)
Heavy all the time will just wear out your body. Try 5,3,1 or GHVT or some variation. I think you will feel better and get stronger.
                      BTW these are raw lifts
