  • Next cycle/lower blood pressure

    Hey guys,

I just finished up a cycle of:
week 1-4 Dbol 50 mg per day
week 1-8 Test Cyp 500 mg per week

I planned on running the Test Cyp for 12 weeks but my blood pressure started to creep up into the 150/95 range so I cut it short.

Starting to plan for another cycle in June and was looking for some advice on a cycle that may not be as likely to jack my blood pressure up so high.

Would test prop be a better choice than test cyp as I've heard some people say you retain less water on prop but don't know that to necessarily be true (and water retention definitely contributes to high bp)?

Should I def stay away from the Dbol?

I know some guys run high bp meds while on cycle to keep it down but I would really prefer not to do that, so any thoughts or advice would be appreciated.

I think you understand everything. specialy the bp meds that makes no sence to me either. only thing you didnt mention was diet! diet can control water retension. how was your diet be honest this is your health. there is no reason for us regular hobbie body builders to use prop we can get the look we want with diet.

          Diet

Haha. My diet was pretty clean. I'd say it was a pretty standard high protein low carb diet. I do watch my salt intake, but would admit that I could probably cut it down a little bit more but not much.

High bp does run in my family and what's normal for me is somewhere around 130/80 which is on the high side of the normal range, so I would say that I am definitely prone to high bp.
