I had some bloodwork done last week. The Dr. calls me today and says that my cholesterol was high, liver is high and Test was high. Says she wants me to come in tomorrow. I didnt get all the numbers but she said the Test level was at 3700. Ill get the rest tomorrow when I go but she asked me if I was taking steroids I told her yes and she asked me to bring the shit in with me when I go tomorrow. Im not 100% sure thats a good idea. I was thinking of maybe taking a empty bottle and amp but I dont know if I should take the stuff in there. She cant call the police or anything can she?

no - do not bring in anything period. Write down what you are running the doses mg / ml - if you absolutely feel it is neccessary - I would wait for a hard copy of the bloodwork and see what exactly is up personally. Def don't bring in anything gear related bro.Originally posted by FrankTheTank55 View PostI had some bloodwork done last week. I'd keep it on the safe side. My doc went kinda nuts when my test was 1300. I had a diagnoses of hypogonadism and he put me on androgel after 2 weeks my test was at 50 wich was lower than when I started. So I double the dose to maxamum dossge and waited three weeks to get bloodwork. It was 1300 and he wasn't happy. I told him I would rather see 1300 than 50. He told me I could live without my testicles. Blah blah blah. My point is 95% of all docs don't have a clue anyways. I told mine to keep all talk of aas OUT OF MY CHART.

yeah - dude not only do you not want to bring in an empty vial or something - you certainly do no not need this all over your chart. Everything that goes wrong from a cold to a sinus infection could easliy be blamed on gear! Doctors are people like you and I, sometimes it's better to let to get the right advice and not theres!Originally posted by crossconnect View PostI told mine to keep all talk of aas OUT OF MY CHART.

Frank buddy you are crazy bro! why get blood work? Unless you have a cool ass doctor never get blood work while on cycle and never admit to being on steroids unless something is seriously wrong with ya.
goto the local vitiman shop and ask the guy for the lattest and greatest prohormone empty the bottle and bring that in. tell the doc that is what you were taking. you dont want your insurance denying you a claim down the road blaming steroids.

Great advise Rocket about waiting for post cycle to get bloodwork. You don't want to be off the charts testosterone wise. If anything you want to come in low so they can write you a script. My doctor freaked and started talking about toxic levels blah blah blah when he saw 1300 from the androgel. Dr's see illicit steroid use as just that , illicit drug use. They have a hard time diferentiating between hard core narcotics and steroids I'm sure.Play it off like it was prohormones that did it for sure. It just seems fishy she wants to see it! She could just look the drug up if she didn't know what it was

I don't think your Dr. needs to see what you are taking. Explain to her what you take, she is your Dr. and is suppose to help you. Why would she call the cops on you she isn't allowed to give your information out to anyone except maybe another Dr. she might want you to see. Let her know that you have done research on roids and your having blood work done and seeing her because your proactive about your health. If she can't understand the blood levels, then maybe she can refer you to another Dr. Your a honest person and what to make sure that your blood work is ok and if not what does she want you to do. Let her know that you will work with her but this is something you do. Maybe the Dr. tells you to go off and lets recheck blood in three months, so you tell ok. Work with her and remember you are paying her to be your Dr. so if you don't like what you hear, find a Dr. that knows more about roids. This is just my 2-cents but I've been in the game powerlifting since 1974. Dr's back then new zero about roids, at least some Dr's know a lot more today. Good luck. Since this post was back in April how did it turn out for you?

rocket the hippa law protects you from that !!!!! if any info is given out by your doc or any institution dealing with you medically you have a right to sue - a doctor can lose his or her license if they violate the hippa lawOriginally posted by ROCKETW19 View Postyou either have a cool as doc or are getting blood work at a independent place.

hipaa was enacted in 1996 for the very reason of personal and private information being given out to insurance companies by doctors !!!
i let all my docs know what i am running --- that way they know what to test for when doing bloodwork and why some things may come up slightly off !!!
