  • Preloading pins?

I saw a relatively old thread in which Rado posted something about preloaded pins. This intrigues me a bit. Its like cooking a bunch of chicken breast in advance for a quick but necessary protein meal. Lol. Ive thought about it before but was always afraid of bacteria build up etc. Can anyone definitely say if this is safe or not? Who's had good and bad experiences with it? Also, is there a certain type of syringe/plunger that works best/worst for preloading? What is the process and storage for preloading pins? How long is it safe to keep them preloaded for? I think if these questions were answered and more tips were given it would save a ton of time for me and alot of other people. Especially when your running behind and your rushing and you need to pin yourself. Ever forget to do something like drawback? lol. I get freaked out thinking i went into a vein or something. haha. Ok, thoughts, tips, advice, experiences??

I cant anwser thoes questions but i will say I am sure the steroids are alot safer in the vial than sitting in a pin.
I think rado shoots everyday that is way he wants to pre-load. it only takes a second to load it I wouldnt take a chance for a few seconds. I use 18g loader as I seen you do to from your other thread it takes 2 seconds and done.

I agree with rocket...it really only takes a few minutes tops daily but is worth the extra effort

any oil based steroids with BA in it should be ok but i agree, i would rather leave the liquid in the vial or amp until i am ready.

Theres nothing wrong with pre-loading pins. I would keep them down to a few weeks worth at a time.

One worry of mine would be the ba leaching out plastic into the solution. I have heard that high ba content leaches plastic into the liquid from the stopper on the vial if it sits too long. One black market manufacturer who had been selling for years swears up and down that some of his clients were stricken with cancer and the doctors confirmed it originated from plastic deposits at the injection sites of these athletes. This manufacturer refuses to use ba anymore and uses something else to sterilize. Not trying to scare anyone. Just food for thought

did this manufacturer sell preloaded syringes?...there would not be enough contact time with the BA and syringe if you were drawing it up and injecting within reasonable time to have significant leaching to cause cancer

I preloaded an entire cycle w/stealth injectables - no problems. My routine for actually shooting is the exact same, the pins are always fresh each time - I have a biohazard container to get rid of them etc. It's a breeze and easier to remember imo.

My longevity doc sold me all my test preloaded in syringes with the needle ready to inject. So, that is still the way I do it.

it is fairly safe since the gear does have solvents that allow them to stay clean but like others have said I would rather be safe and leave it in the vial until I am ready....

                        I use a 22g to load and a 25g to inject

where do you hit most frequent w/25g - i use 18 to draw 23g to inject.
