  • ? for insulin users

I have lantas insulin glargine and novolog I know the 1st has a longer peak time and the 2nd is shorter peak are there any benifits to run the longer peak time slin over the short? I have run the shorter 4 times with great results and have a few of the longer version and just dont know much about the running it and the timming on the my food intake timming with it. Any info or thoughts from ne 1 that has done both? thank you for any help. Zook

Ditto, I'm not a slin user either, but the shorter acting is safer and from what I heard works better.

you should not be using lantus for body building purposes...its use is for maintaining basal insulin levels throughout the day not the peaks that bodybuilders are looking for and unless you are diabetic this is not the right stuff to be on
