  • How fast can one lose gains

How long would it take to lose some serious gains after not working out in a while. I dont mean as in not doing post cycle but after a good cycle doing post cycle and all. Lets say not working out for 1 week or so. How long would it take to notice someone shrinking.

It's really hard to say bro...

If your not training, but your eating a ton, then you may be able to hold most of your size for like a month.....

But, it also depends on how far you are past your natural potential. And how long your body has been at your current weight. You body will get used to carrying a certain weight, that it will want to go back to all the time. You can change that weight, but it takes time... so you have to maintain your gained weight for sometime, before this becomes your new normal weight.

I broke a metacarpal in my left hand, and this is about 5 weeks after the end of my very first cycle where i went from 218 to 252. Today is the beginning of the 3rd week of not working out and I am down to 237 :(

my motorcycle accident was about 3 1/2 wks ago and I have lost 33 lbs due to atrophy. It bites but it will come back after I heal, muscle memory.

You're not going to lose significant size in only 1 week under normal circumstances. Being in the desert or having serious injuries requiring operations are totally different than just taking a week off from the gym.

well, that's obvious. The question is open ended so why shouldn't serious injury or being lost on a desert island be put as an answer? lol

I would think alot of it depends on what AAS you are using to gain, slower gains form such as winny, or eg, are much more
retainable, than 20lbs in a month from anadrol, or d-bol. I prefer
slower cleaner gains, gives my body a chance to keep up with
the needs required to support added muscle, just my prefer!
