Arteparon for joint pain?

Hi, I'm new here and I'm sorry if this is the wrong place. I am not a body builder but this forum came up in a google search about using Arteparon steroid shots for injury and pain relief. My dad has extreme pain and osteo-arthritis. He lives in South Africa and I was wondering if he could use Arteparon/Adequan shots for pain relief and joint repair? Also, I don't even know where to start looking to find an injector - would a sports-medicine doctor be the obvious place to start? His GP has never even heard of Arteparon...

Thanks for any help with this. I have had these shots for my horse and he's shown a marked improvement.

Thanks very much for your help. I read the links you gave and did a board search and the results look promising. Now we have to try and find a doctor that will give these injections to my father in South Africa - or else he'll just have to go to the horse vet.
