  • What to say and what not to say to your doc when trying to get HRT?

I'm at a point in my life where I no longer want to go about things in any form illegally. I have to much to loose and gear or PCT are not worth the risk of loosing any of it.

Now obviously I would just like my doc to give me a script for like 200mg every 2 weeks, but I'm sure most docs won't just say "ok" when you ask. I want to make it as obvious as possible that I either need HRT or medical help with trying to get my body back to natural levels, but not say why.

Is there things I should or shouldn't say? Certain steps to go through before bringing this topic up?

Tell your doctor your dick is limp and you don't wanna take Viagra.

Does that raise suspicion at 30? Will they do blood work first?

Yep your doc will give you blood test to check your levels. But here is a crazy idea I don't know how everyone would feel about it but...get on some test for about four weeks then come off wait for a few weeks then let your doc give you blood test. I'm pretty sure your test levels will show low.

Let's say hypothetically that's a non issue. I still have about 3 months before I would go see a doctor.

Go in and say you have low sex drive and you generally don't feel like your old self. Tell him you saw a commercial about "low t" and was wondering what that was all about.

They may try to give you the gel first. Tell him you would prefer the injectable if possible.

^ Until they test his levels and they come back normal. No way a doc will give you a script unless your levels are low. Only way I would know how is like beast said above. But even then, I'm sure they would retest. That, or you just have to find a cool doctor.

if your t levels are within normal range no doc will give you a script ! run a cycle come off wait for a few weeks then go ..

tell your doc that your tired all the time and you have no sex drive .. doc will perform necessary tests ... if t is low they will treat you accordingly

I'll just put it out there so I can give you the information needed to give me the most help. I have been on 200 test cyp every 3 weeks for about 3 years. I have a few shots left and then I either need to do an in depth PCT or get a script for test.

200 every 3 weeks?? Wouldn't your normal levels of test be higher then that?

I think its all about convincing the doc that things aren't what they were with you, not what they used to be and its depressing you

My PCP was real cool about getting me started on treating my ADHD, but when it came time to really work on making adjustments with the meds he referred me to a specialist. That was exactly what I needed. If he were to try and get me started and then refer me to a specialist if needed, what kind of specialist would that be? A urologist?
