  • Steroids, training and recovery...

    So with the cycle below I received very good advice on a different thread. Now I have another question that pertains to training. AAS is supposed to help recovery...put your body into an anabolic state, right. So my question is, "can I train each body part twice a week during a cycle?" Another question: I know it's almost impossible to lose body fat and gain muscle at the same time, but is it possible on a cycle like the one below? Everything I read damn near labels the cycle below as a cutting cycle, but is it just that...cutting with no gains? Thanks.

    Well I'm back "over there" and got some gear while I was home, but didn't get everything I wanted. I was using a couple of sources and because of logistical issues my sources couldn't get everything I requested. Time was an issue, if I had more time home I'm sure my sources could have came through, but such is life. So I am tired of waiting and I'm going to use what I have. I know this goes against the main school of thought about test being the foundation for a cycle, but I'm moving forward. This is what I have:

    Deca 300mg/10ccs
    Combo Anavar 10mg/Winny 20mg pills (100 total)
    Noval 20mg (100 total)
    HCG

    My plan:

    wk 1-7 Deca 300mg every 5 days
    wk 3-5 combo ana 10mg/win 20mg 1 pill everyday
    wk 6-10 combo ana 10mg/win 20mg 2 pills everyday
    wk 11-12 combo ana 10mg/win 20mg 1 pill everyday

    I will begin HCG 1 wk prior to last pill and inject every 6 days for 3 wks
    I will begin Noval 2days after last pill at 40mg for 2 wks and then at 20mgs for another 2wks

    - you can , it depends on your body though, what you are eating - how you train volume wise , where you are physically as is , most people who train twice are at serious sticking points and on a lot of gear that I've found -

    - I can take anavar and primo and fucking grow bro !!! It's 100% diet and putting the time in the gym , these are AGENTS to help your process but they will help regardless of whether you want to cut or bulk. If you eat clean and stay around 300 -600 cals over your metabolic cut off for your body, do some cardio, you can gain muscle while burning fat, absolutely. Is it the most affective method ? Nope, that's why people bulk.... and cut ... but it certainly can be done and is doable with what you have there. Think food first always brother. You are gonna be what you eat steroids aid that.

        ya n how much to do you weigh ? remember you were 250s + , if you aren't training twice , then I find it hard to believe most people are at the place where they need to. Should they / can they - diet and enough food and juice I truly think you can , but I prefer to simply train twice a lagging point the rest, once heavy and hard and you grow, if you dont its cuz you aren't training hard enough or eating enough period.

          two points dog bite;

          1) you shouldn't be training a bodypart twice a week
          2) the cycle you have chosen wont amp recovery, compounds like dianabol would

            i am at 259 lbs this morning AOW. been off AAS since Aug 29th.

            i blast the hell out of whatever muscle group i am training and get as much blood into the muscle as possible. i am sore for 5-6 days after in the muscle i train. so for me, i feel that training twice per week would be a negative.

                that's my point - I can't imagine anyone is that place no offense dogbite where you NEED to train twice a week to gain. The amount of food / gear / genetics that takes is insane.

                So can it be done , yes . Should it be done by 99% of humans - no! :weights:

                I'm with you, train heavy, "old fashion" and just pound it out im sore for good few days no matter what im running.

                        So it looks like the consensus is to train once a week and probably focus more on weight gain rather than losing and gaining simultaneously. I thought it may be feasible with the gear, but will stick to the advice given. I appreciate the advice from experienced bodybuilders...thanks again.
