IS QV being counterfited????

I got some QV BOld 200 and a bottle QV Enant 250. Both have the "flip off" cap and not the cap with the "QV" logo on top.

Both bottles have the lot no. printed on the label and not with the usual dot matrix type printer.

Both bottles have label with rounded corners as well.

THe Enant 250 bottle has a hologram on it which is the same on that matched the box.

The Bold 200 vials do not have the hologram on the bottle.

I am under the impression that the Bold 200 vials I have and Enat 250 bottle I have are good, they are just the older version of the QV. Also, I was told that it is not ucommon to have seen QV use the "flip off" style cap.

What are ya'lls thoughts on this?? ANy expert advice???

I just got back from mex yesterday and yes I did find QV fakes at some vet houses ,so yes there are fakes out there u just need to go to the right spot or source.

Well, the place were my QV came from is on the distribution portion of the web site for Quality Vet. THe doc has more than one store as well.

Any more suggestions/advice out there???

if you got them from the place that you trust then u should be fine,or call and ask the what the deal is,if its on their site then they have the phone # on it.

yup. Those vet houses sure do have alot of fakes. I saw some labels Ive never seen before ever and they wanted shitloads for it. They wanted twice the amount I usually get mine for. Andto tell u the truth the damn bitch thought we were stupid and was trying to raise the prices thinking we wouldnt find out. I just said fuck you and took off.

Well I sent an email to the QV email site and I hope they reply. I sent it in english so I could get a response or not. Who knows???

A friend of mine was telling me that it is cheaper to sell Mexican gear that is legit in Mexico than it is to actually go through the process of making labels and holograms and packaging and shit like that. I hope that is true.

what are the Lot and batch numbers on the bottles, QV switches labels and caps, with each batch too avoid counterfiting problems

The lot no: for the Bold 200 is QVB-001 and the lot no for the QV Enant 250 is QVE-001

I can't read the experation dat on the Bold 200. I believe it reads somethng like August of 2003. THe expiration date for the Enant 250 is April of 2004

Bothe have "flip off" on the lids, not QV.

Not all QV bottles have the QV printed on the lids. I have many bottles of prop that don't have it, but it's legit.

Did you peel the holorgram off of the bottles? That's a sure way to tell. It should either leave behind dots, or "v" slits.

Well, the Enant 250 is a good one.

My only concern now is the Bold 200. It has no Hologram but the same type of label and lot no: printing as the Enant 250 does. THere was a hologram on the box however when I purchased the bottle.

Fubby U should ask. I am on QV BOLD and PROP right now. My bottles came in the cardboard box with cellophane on them. Hollagrams on the box and bottle, and QV in script in black and white on the flip top lid. QV is batch 007 exp. 2006, and I forget about the Prop. Yours sound older, but legit. Enjoy it. Its a good cycle.

So back in the day they didn't used to use Holograms, IAMHUGE????????????? Are positive about this???? For a minute there I thought it was an older batch as well...which I think it is, but I just don't know about the hologram not being on the bottle and the label also wrapping around the bottle and over lapping itself by about an eigth of an inch.

I don't know, I am kinda worried??

are the lot numbers and dates printed in ink on the box or are they apart of the box ? that is to say are they printed over the box or in the same color and font as the rest of the package...
