what i want to know is if u are taking slin and u take something that decreases ur insulin sensitivty is this a good thing or a bad thing !

if it decreases your sensitivity that means you have to take more slin to lower your sugar than normal. therefor its good if you want to take more to shuttle more nutrients to your body and bad if your a diabetic and you dont know if its insulin effecting or not.

Metformin, Glucophage, Avandia, and Actos increase sensitivity, meaning you can get more 'effect' from less slin.
