here is the situation kid is 17 dad has not paid any support in 10-11 years
heres the question can you go back and make him pay all thoes years?
the reason I ask is my wifes kids dad has not paid in that time and my wife just kept telling him when she turns 17 buy her a car and we are all good. She has been saying this for the last 2 years to him and last month kid turned 17 and he is all excuses. I told her fuck him take his ass back to court and make him pay all that back pay then.
Can she do that?

I would say bro it depends on what state it is with the different laws and all. Here in Ky fuck yea he would have to pay it. My child support and medical insurance on my daughter comes right out of my check every week I asked for it to be that way so the crazy bitch can't say I aint paying and don't have to keep up with reciepts. If he don't take care of his kid then she should take his ass to court and if he can't prove he has paid it then I would think he would have to pay up.

well thanks for the anwser guys. I am not a greddy person and as you can tell either is my wife. but damn all he had to do is buy his own damn kid a car. even a simple 10K car and he would of been so off the hook now I will buy her a car and he will pay alot more stupid bastard

All depends. Too many variables. Sometimes in some states the person that has not paid is such a low life that the courts wipe the slates clean. Typically its if they are in and out of jail. Most times they are held accountable for every penny. Only way to find out is get the state courts involved.

I think if its possible she better hurry before the child is 18 yrs old. I'm sure you could get a cheap consultation with a lawyer to go over your options.
