    Too much of a good thing is a bad thing bro so IMO I think that is too much even if it's good fats,the most I would take is 50 grams.

        when trieng to bulk i wouldnt worry about it to much. start out high and if you gain to much fat simply cut back. everyone is different.

          I'd err on the high side of fat intake, as I find I grow better when I'm not intentionally eating low-fat while bulking. Don't go out and gorge on deep-fried cheese sticks or anything, but don't be afraid to take in the occasional burger, non-lean cut of beef, ect.

            You do not want all EFAs. Saturated fats are good to. Its all about the proper ratios.

                I agree totally. It comes down to how comfortable you feel in your own skin. There is definatly no numbers. Just what ever keeps you motivated and focused.

                  Just keep in mind these numbers for what you should get daily, then you can work from there:

                  Fats=.5g per lb

                  Protein= 1.5g per lb

                  Carbs= 2.5 to 3g per lb.

                  Once you figure out your intake (nutrient X bodyweight= grams per day), you can figure the caloric value..

                  Here's mine for example:

                  Fats= .5g X 182lbs = 91g

                  Protein= 1.5g X 182 = 275g (It's really 273, but I round up)

                  Carbs= 3g X 182 = 550g

                  Take each number of total grams, multiply by their caloric value.. So, carbs/protein both are 4 cals per gram, and fats are 9..

                  91 X 9= 819kcals

                  275 X 4 = 1,100kcals

                  550 X 4 = 2,200kcals

                  Total calories needed to bulk for me: 4,119kcals

                  Just gotta figure a safe amount of each for your body, and keep it clean.. ;)

                      Using the whole X amount of grams of carbs/fat/protein per lbs. of body weight is a good rule of thumb but it comes down to judging your own body. Personally I find the diet you have their listed is great if you can keep to it. Getting in that many grams of protein and that many carbs while stayin under 100 grams of fat per day is an accomplishment in itself. See how the diet goes for 3-4 weeks and then tweak it from there. If you keep the diet you have listed that's 4600-4900 calories a day.
