Question about blood tests and liver enzymes guys. My doc told me to come back in 6 weeks for more blood work. Well its been 6 weeks. I used dianabol for 5 weeks into this test-e cycle I'm on now. 10mg 3 times daily for 3 weeks then kept it under 20mg a day for the other 2 weeks. Basically took a 50mg dbol cap and spread it out over a 3 day period for the last 2 weeks. Been off the dbol for a little over a month now but still using 250mg test-e every 5 days. My doctor told me after my last cycle my liver enzymes were higher than before (no shit) he knows I'm on test but I haven't mentioned the dbol to him. Basically I'm wondering how long does it take for the liver to work its way back to somewhat normal levels? I'm debating on just telling him the truth about my dianabol use but he prescribes me test and I don't want to fuck that up not sure how lenient he will be so...?

Wait 2 more weeks for a total of six weeks off all 17aa orals and you should be back to baseline depending on how high your enzymes got. That will be a total of 6 weeks off orals. The timeframe and dosages you mentioned shouldn't cause much stress on your liver to begin with. I wouldn't risk telling him about your dbol use because he didn't prescribe it and he won't be happy about it. Trust me. Lol. If enzymes are still elevated, there may be other issues causing the elevation. If so, get the recomended blood screens done and monitor from there. I hate to say it, but hep B is highly contagious, much more so than hep A and is a silent killer if left untreated. Cover all your bases when it comes to liver health. It's no joke. If you don't mind, what were your ast/ alt readings?Comment

I'm not exactly sure of the exact numbers from my last tests he just said they were slightly higher than before. I just left the doctors office my blood work will be back tomorrow from the lab so I will post the results.Originally posted by crossconnect View PostComment

Post back your ALT and AST enzyme readings bro. There are many more markers in a Liver Function Test, but, those two tell alot about potential liver damage and liver health. They should both be under 30 I believe. Mine were both well over a thousand about six years ago, and I had no idea!! I felt like a million bucks up until I had an appendicitis attack. That was some of the blood work they ran before surgery to remove my appendix. Point being.....I felt fine, yet my liver was in stage three fibrosis. There is no stage 5. I had a liver biopsy shortly after, and was diagnosed with fibrosis. I'm basically a non drinker. They think it was my appendix that caused the toxic effects. My enzyme readings have been down around 30 ish for six years now. I would love to see the results of a biopsy today. Hopefully it has recovered fully. I still feel great by the way. I'm 41, an old fucker! LolComment
