All in all...use it how you want. I would begin low. 2iu a day...see how you react. Then slowly increase the dose...depending on what you have...some stuff out there you will need more...some you will need less. As far as the "when"??? Try a couple times. I noticed when I did later then 6 p.m. it messed with my sleeping but with others it helped them sleep better. So now I do 3iu morning and 2 iu about noon with very few sides and feeling good.
