I notice on some cycles that i have this ammonia smell in my nose on and off but i really notice it strong with this tren, test, var cycle. What causes me to have this smell? i know the gear is a factor but how does it cause this? Its only when i breathe in through my nose..

Does it happen only while/after working out or cardio? Are you on a high protein or low carb diet? Ammonia smell or breath could mean that you are in ketosis and your body is using ketones for fuel. Ammonia is a byproduct of that metabolic pathway. Not necessarily a bad thing if that is the cause. Increase your carbs and see if it goes away.

Yes, i get that smell half way through a workout and it lasts about a hour after workout. I have also been on a low carb high protein diet.Originally posted by Scrumhalf View PostDoes it happen only while/after working out or cardio? Are you on a high protein or low carb diet? Your just parroting what you read on internet scrum you don't even use gear. Guys I know who get this while on get in trouble. Its not a good thing to be smelling and its you kidneys giving you a warning sign. Drink more water, don't go overboard on protien and eat stuff thats easily digested and processed like whey protien. Avoid tren and a bombs and dbolOriginally posted by Scrumhalf View PostDoes it happen only while/after working out or cardio? Are you on a high protein or low carb diet? The logic of doing this is that it will provide your body energy as oposed to your body having to use amino acids from protien as evergy. It may help but if your trying to diet through low carb then it goes against the grain of what your trying to achieve. I'd increase good fats and increase your water intake as above and to my mind you should come off tren or a bombs if your using themOriginally posted by 1badMF View Postshould i still increase carbs then?

Dude, will you STFU? Parroting internet information, indeed.. :disagree:Originally posted by Mr incredible View PostYour just parroting what you read on internet scrum you don't even use gear. I have never claimed I know anything about gear, but I personally get the same smell when I am doing fasted cardio and I am low on carbs. If that is the reason, it can be because the OP is low on carbs and this can be fixed simply by increasing carbs, especially before a workout.
It could be something else more serious too, I suppose, but before jumpoing overboard with the kidney hypothesis, perhaps the OP should just increase his carb intake before a workout, maybe some simple carbs like gatorade, and see if the problem goes away.
Geez...

To add to my point, IF the cause is simply because you are running out of carbs and your body is burning amino acids, then there is nothing inherently wrong with that. There is no evidence that the body is breaking down muscle to get the protein, but rather that it is running on amino acid metabolism in your blood stream. A simple experiment with increased carbs can determine this.
On the other hand, if it is something with your kidneys, then of course that's a problem.

Last post was funny but don't let out go to your head pencil neck, the guy asked the question given he is on aas so let someone with aas experience answer the question.Originally posted by Scrumhalf View PostTo add to my point, IF the cause is simply because you are running out of carbs and your body is burning amino acids, then there is nothing inherently wrong with that. Gotcha, fatty.Originally posted by Mr incredible View PostLast post was funny but don't let out go to your head pencil neck, the guy asked the question given he is on aas so let someone with aas experience answer the question.
Once again, we don't know conclusively that it was the AAS that causes it. It could be a simpler explanation. Easy to figure out. If you make sure you are not carb depleted and the problem doesn't go away, then go down the AAS route.
