  • So I'm new to this whole anabolic discussion...

Okay, I have been trainning for a while and I really am starting to want to get real big. I never thought I would use anything, except prot shakes and such. What I want to know is the risk that is possed to me by taking something like steriods? I have heard stories. Is it really bad for you? Do you become very violent on them? Any info would be greatly appriciated. I mean, anything.

Use the search function at the top of the page. You can answer most of your questions by doing a little research first.

Yes steroids are very dangerous..... if used improperly. Like anything really. Luckily there are sources of information like this board with which we can educate ourselves and minimize the risks.

Read all you can read if you wanna know the truth.

WHats up brother. Roids like anything can harm u. In a way their good and they have thier bads. This thread posted by "Intensity" helps out alot bro http://www.superiormuscle.com/vbulle...threadid=6633. Read there man.

Also to roids u gotta have a solid taining routine so u can gain maximum muscle gains. Not to mention the diet bro,its always important to keep the protein high dude try to go around 300-400gms a day. Try eating alot of chickens, meats, milks, tunas, fish, etc high protein foods.

It all depends on what ur going for bro. It could either be for mass and size, solid gains of muscle, or just a cutter, this all happens depending on the diet ur in man.

The thing I say about roids are "Use them, but dont abuse them"

I agree with everybody above. Do as much research as possible the goods the bads and then decide for yourself if you want to use. Remember the difference between use and abuse. The gains are great but don't get greedy.

Also, go ahead and tell us about yourself ----> your age, physical stats and workout history ;)
This info comes in extremely handy when you ask a stranger about what you need and don'y need ;)

Steroids can be benefitial without doing any permenant damage. Just don't get hooked and abuse.....also, just keep your cycles moderate and lightly stacked. You can even do a test only cycle (no stacking at all) and get 15-20 lbs easy :D
Your first cycle is like the first time you ever got drunk ----> it only takes a little for results.

.....welcome to the land of learning....many people here who can help out tremendously :D

Thanks everyone, I am going to start reading the threads you posted and use the SEARCH button a bit more effectively.

                        My Stats:

                        I'm 18
                        5' 10"
                        230

I have been hitting the gym seriously for about 11 months now. I started out doing high rep workouts to help aid the fatloss process. Now, I really want to get stronger. I also run 3-4 days a week depending on what I have to do that week. I run for like 30 minutes atleast or up to 45. Sometimes Ill bike instead, but I get cardio in.

My diet is also high in protein, low in carbs. I get about 275 grams protein per day, do you think I will need more protein to gain mass?

If there is anything else please feel free to comment. I plan on running to keep cutting down on fat. Thanks for all the info. Ill read up and get back with any questiongs. Thanks again.

                          I'm 18
Wait at least another year or two Bro.
At 18 you should be loaded with natural testosterone.
Try some quality non AAS supplements like creatine, glutamine, MRP's, and make sure you get plenty of calories
Sounds like you got your goals in order.
What is your body fat %?
If you're not too worried about your b/f,
cut the cardio to 3x wk max.
Also change your routine to include the big compound lifts with the heaviest weight you can handle with good form.
You should get much stronger once you start lifting heavy. Just stay within yourself and don't get injured. If you are not careful your muscles will grow and strength will improve faster than your joints and connective tissue, possibly resulting in injury. This is especially true when using AAS.
Make sure you're finished growing and maximize your genetic potential before you take the plunge.

                            I agree with OG.
Research as much as you can for the next 2 years or so and continue to train and eat properly. At your age you have a ton of test running through your body and you can and should get gains with out AS.
By then you will have built a good base and you will have the knowledge about AS.

if you are an average healthy individual then your biggest problems will be hairloss and acne. You may not even have these. As you get bigger, you get alot of sides from carrying all that extra weight that you wouldn't have without juice
