  • Cortisol Question???

Hey i was wondering if a person is on steroids, would they be able to work out for up to 2 hours and keep cortisol away, or is it still advisable to work out no more than an hour???

Classic case of looking way to deep into something.

Keep training under an hour on or off steroids.

Depending on Wat I'm doing, I might go up to 90mins of training. Never gave me a problem

Yes but over training is not optimal.

True but if you can't tell when your over training. I'd hold off on the cycle toll you know your body better

nah its not always so obvious as how you feel or tiredness level.

unless you are doing like some sort of whole body workout but again, not really optimal for bodybuilding.

I know its possible to over train even while on steroids so I like keeping it to a 60 minute max. I would guess cortisol levels would rise the longer you train.

If u start to loose ur pump during ur workout, surefire way to know ur starting to overtrain

I've trained for 3 hours, sometimes 4 hours 3 x a week naturally, but with the AAS, I've find that my energy, strength, endurance had increased one hundred fold and I had to taper down or burn out. 1hour and 15min. max.

How does cardio affect this? I do about 45 mins weights and about an hour low intensity cardio post work out

its fine! the act of stopping cardio to reduce cortisol is like stopping eating to keep your teeth clean.

"cortisol" is something that means very little and people have latched onto.

train, eat well and often, cycle if you want too and you have no need to worry about it.
