  • pin help plz

Hey guys I got a question for you, Im new to the gear world and just started my second cycle of test Cyp last week. the last cycle I ran, which was last year, I had no pin problems. this time around however I have not been able to sit for a couple days after I shoot and I have swelling and broken blood vessels in the spot where I shoot it. I pin in my Glutes everytime and I even had my girl do it this time cuz I thought I went a little to deep last week but thats not the case obviously. I use 22g 1" latex free pins. I run 1 cc a week, low dose. If someone could tell me what the #$ck is going on I would appreciate the help. Thx alot.:noo:

Try using 25g to stick and use a seperate needle to draw with I use 20g to draw and then switch the needle gotta keep them sharp. You should also be. Switching sites you will develop a lot of scar tissue if you don't. . You could also try putting it warm water before you draw and stick. Pinning in larger muscle groups will also often help.

Ty Ty...larger muscle groups like quads? heard there were alot of veins in quads which could be deadly if you hit one, from what I was told.. and I have had my needles for a long time but been tucked away you think they could get dull?

No but they dull up when you put it in the vial to draw that's why its good to order needles by themselves without the plunger so you can switch the tip after you draw. Yes hitting a vein can be deadly that's why you need to aspirate every time which means after you stick it pull back on the plunger and you should see little air bubbles which is normal but if you see blood you need to pull out and re pin.

Quads aint bigger than your butt muscle lol. But anyways, I would give quads a try, you have more control when pinning...(you can use both hands). Just make sure you do on the outer part of your quad and to aspirate. I hate pinning, but quads are not too bad.

I don't believe you are having a problem with the mechanics of pinning, but rather an adverse reaction to the bb or ba in the gear itself.

I always shoot quads simply because I'm too uncoordinated to hit my glutes without lacerating the living shit out of them. That being said I've experienced reactions to bb or ba, possibly because they were higher dosed than normal or because that's what my body decided that day.

Ice and anti inflammatory medication will help sites recover faster also. Never use a heating pad.

Rotate injection sites and use sharper pins, I like precision glide 25g.

Benzyl Benzoate and Benzyl Alcohol they are used in the manufacturing process as preservatives and to keep everything sterile but in too high of doses can be quite irritating and cause swelling and pain. On that same note if it doesn't start to go away after a week and becomes red, hot and even more inflamed or spreads,.. consider seeing a doc, could be infection. Be safe.

Ok might make an appointment soon its been 2 days and thats exactly whats happening. Red, Hot and starting to spread and I cant even fucking sit down... I'll give it a few days before I call the doc.. meantime what should I do with my vial? Hate to waste monies and toss it. I only got 2 injects out of it. But its not worth the pain... If I drop down to 50 mil twice a week and pin my shoulder would that help you think? I truly appreciate the help and advice, I was starting to get scared shitless.

This sounds like a low grade infection, which could be from the component your injecting or your methodology. You need to remember that you are breaking your dermis (skin) with a needle in order to inject a foreign body into it. Everything about this process can allow for infection. Make sure your injection site is clean. Every time. Also, as is often the case in situations like this it is contaminants within the component itself.

Auri has it right. Has nothing to do with the pins, its the gear.

And no, hitting a vein is not "deadly". It is very common to hit a vein during an injection. Happens all the time.

I've read that it can be deadly if you inject into the vein is this not correct? Of course if you go through it its not gonna hurt you
