  • Lipid Profile out of whack. Advice please...

I've been on 400mg Test E for 18 weeks now and had blood work done today. My total cholesterol was in the normal range as was my LDL levels. However, my triglycerides were 172 and they should be less than 150 and my HDL was 33 while it should be greater than 60. Should I come off for awhile?

I did take fish oil until I heard it caused cancer and no, my cardio is not what it should be.

I think the prostate thing was found to be out of proportion, take the fish oil, 3 g a day.

Do mild cardio 3 x per week and I'm sure you will improve, reduce red meat, animal fats. Test again in three months

I wouldn't pay to much attention to it. Steroids are always going to give you some "out of whack" number compared to normals. Don't go crazy with the doses, orals, diuretics etc.. and you will most likely be fine.

Add niacin (do not get the "no flush" type). I was taking 3g fish oil per day the entire cycle and my lipids were off while running tren. Niacin helped get my good cholesterol in normal range.

Thanks for the input guys. What exactly would mild cardio be, an hour/wk 2hr/week? I read about the Niacin supplement somewhere else too blm so I may pick some up. My diet is pretty crazy too, if I want it I eat it

Good point. However, I don't touch anything oral, no diuretics (except coffee), and 400mgs test is the most I've ever taken

so you have nothing to worry about then. numbers are never going to be "normal" on hormona because we arent normal.
