  • Confused with steroid advice

Hey there guys. This is my first post. I have been doing some readings here. But could not really find some practical answers. Info is vast though.

So I am an ecto and is very hard to get on weight/muscle. I have been training for about 6 months now. And I'm 6'1 and 160 lbs. I work out 6 times a week and trying to gain muscle.

Here is the thing, my trainer told me to take D-bol pink tablets(10mg/day) for a month.

But I was very confused after reading about its side effects but he continues to tell me 10mg won't do any damage and will add mass in a short period.

I have put him on hold and I want to know about my options.

    Please help.

    Thanks guys.

6'1" 160lbs, how old are you? What is your diet like? And no I wouldn't do dbol as your first cycle.
You'll get more answers once you answer those questions.

Oh and welcome to SM. :)

Thanks for the reply Beast. I'm 22, will be 23 coming January.

I have time(University) issues So I get really nervous when it comes to diet. But I try my best to maintain it everyday.

      1. I try to eat 6 times a day.

2.I take whey twice. ( I'm out of mass gainers right now :( indeed sad story,But will add it in a week and take it twice a day.)

      3. Breakfast includes oatmeal,banana,whey.

      4. then boiled chicken breasts. like 300gm.

      5. after that, brown rice,vegetables,fish.

      6. then boiled potatoes. 3-4 pieces.

      7. then milk. 300ml. oats,banana,whey.

      8. boiled chicken,rice, vegetables.

-- It's not a standard diet.I experiment here and there and try to hit 3500 calories. But not sure if it is enough though. Sometimes I eat smaller portions :( not sure why.

      Thanks for the welcome.

Why do you want to take steroids at this time? Are you tapped out of natural gains? Which is impossible as you have only worked out for 6 months. Post your workout routine. I would wager you have a couple of years minimum of natty training and gains before even thinking of AAS.

I want fast gains bro. And as being an ecto, it's getting really hard to gain weight n muscle. If my thinking pattern is wrong, please correct me. As,I am new to this world, would definitely stay here for the rest of my life.

At the moment, I'm doing a 5 day split routine.

          1. Chest/tricep
          2. Back/bicep

          Rest

          3.Shoulder
          4. Legs.

          Rest.

          5.Abs/traps

          ---

I try do 12-15 reps with 3 seats. A total of 15-18 sets per muscle.

P.S - I'm from India, so for normal people who aspires to look big and good in future ,has very few-to-none affordable trainers who would really give serious and good advice. It's rare but hell gotta do my own research.

            Thanks for the reply.

Ok are you really eating all this food or you are posting what you want us to see?

I mean looking at the diet above I don't see why you shouldn't be able to gain some quality mass. You are eating enough food to gain weight.

That diet doesn't look too bad. Only thing I'd change is add the potatoes from your sixth meal to your fourth meal and that's it. Also how much fish are you eating? what's the amount of the chicken in your last meal?

I agree with scrum when it comes to your natural growth but if you are really set on using something start your first cycle with 300mg testosterone a week for 12 weeks.

P.S. Scrum is from India too.

If your 160 and not growing you need to eat more cals. You will lose everything from dbol very quickly after you come off. It will be mostly water and bloat. First cycle run test enanthate at 250mgs a week for 12 weeks

Your diet is fine, but I am having a hard time believing you are eating 3500 calories. How do you figure this out? Did you actually carefully estimate this using fitday or some such site? Everybody has wishful thinking - they overestimate their calories when trying to bulk and they underestimate their calories when they want to lose weight. You are eating at least 1000 calories over your maintenance level, so you should be gaining something, muscle or fat lol...

Also, can you post how your lifting progress has been over the last 6 months? Do you see improvements from day to day? Do you keep notes of what you lift? With smart phones these days, you don't even need to look dorky carrying a notebook and pencil - just open notepad and enter what you are lifting every day. You should be making progress day to day. Try to add a minimum amount, say 2 kg or whatever minimum amount you can add to your lifts every time. You should always be looking to do this - it may not happen each time, i.e. you may plateau for a while, but you will break through.

Still think that you have lots of natural gains left, given that you are only 22 and should have enough natural test in your body, even though like me you have shitty Asian genetics. :) But if you absolutely must go to the dark side, listen to the guys on this site - they know what they are talking about.

                    500 gm chicken everyday. (300 + 200). And fish is like 200 gm. :(
Yes,I am following this diet everyday. But I'm 6'1,maybe that's why I am not hitting enough cals for my height. I'm out of mass gainer, is that the reason I'm not gaining? Because I used to follow this same diet and used to take mass gainers twice a day.(On Serious mass-1250cal) and I gained a lot at that time.

And with test, what supporting supps should I take and How much?

Why Gods of aesthetics are so angry with us Asians man? :(

                      dem genetics rustles gimmies...:noo:

I use kitchen scales and internet info to calculate the cals. But I agree I could be wrong. But I do try to eat a lot.And as for lifting, yes i keep logs on my mobile(samsung note 2 master race :p ) and has made legit improvements in 6 months.

                      My squat is 180lb.
                      Bench is 176lb . (feelsbadman)
                      Deadlift is 198lb.

Maybe not strong enough but I keep pushing myself in the gym and maybe my improvement is slow but its happening.

P.s - when I started I was at 130lbs and and now at 160lbs. The problem is , yes I have gained a lot of weight. But I am stuck at 160 for over 1.5 months now...it doesn't go up...

Well brah, I can tell you since i like using d-bol, that you wont see some big change in a month just taking 10mg a day, slowly you may notice some gains but not anything mind blowing in a month. Injecting is the way to go though if you can go that route. Im 61 170 and ecto as well and even though your taking d-bol, 10 mg just isnt enough not like it really matters anyway because if you take 40 mgs a day youll see the difference but youll piss it away next month, if you eat right and put in good work at the gym you might keep a couple pounds but thats it. I do think 10mg long term will make a difference because it still speeds up protein synthesis but dont look for it in a month.

Slow it down a notch. I wouldn't suggest taking AAS at this time. This is over simplifying it...but if you are not gainimg weight.this ealry in your lifting career then you are simply not eating enough calories. If you were gaining weight with the same diet but with weight gainer shakes, then the extra calories that had is what your body needed to be in caloric surplus. Eat more food that matches the calories you had with the additional weight gainer until you can purchase more as that seemed to work. Be consistent with your diet and training. If you were to use steroids and you do not have these habits in place then you will stop gaining on them eventually as well. This leads to an ever increasing cycle of adding more and more steroids to make gains. Then you lose the gains because you dont have the habits to maintain this mass. Its a mistake too many guys fall into. Bust your ass in the gym, eat big, and rest well. Eventually steroids will be there if you decide to use them later when you are more ready. They arent going anywhere...unlike your muscle that you would build with them if you choose to use them now. Good luck.bro.
