  • High Iron Levels on TRT

My question is can the negative side effects caused by high iron levels be eliminated simply by donating blood or will these things still appear over time? I'm on 175mg Test a week and all my blood work has came back good. I just worry that over time it is going to effect my organs and prostate. Maybe I'm just worrying for nothing but I donate blood every 56 days as a precaution, just want to be reassured this is all we have to do.

Donating blood is the only way I know of to deal with. High iron over long periods is definitely dangerous.

      Iron

Donate blood. In the US you can donate every 56 days. Keep an eye on your iron levels.

yes even on tRT levels it will build. I just gave blood yesterday and my hemoglobin was 18.8 all I am on is 300mgs test E 1 time per week. this all you need to do other than not eating iron rich foods. most BB type diets don't eat the that stuff anyways. I was looking at the chart for iron rick foods and it is not everyday BB type stuff.

What everyone has said...Keep an eye on it and give blood when needed. You can also decrease the dosage you're taking or stretch it out another day or two before injecting.

no Im not with that! the dosage is prob perfect at 175 per week and streching the injection out past the 7 days is not ggod either. side effects come with unstable blood levels and going past 7 days will give you more unstable than it already is.

actually I would inject 2 times per week for best blood levels if you care about that stuff?

I'm only relaying what my doc did with me when I was making too much blood at 200mg every 5 days. When I started out, I did it twice per week and I some sides because of it. The spikes cause just as much problems as the drops. I had bacne, which I never had before, acne on my scalp, high blood pressure.

Doc told me to stretch it out to 7 days instead of 5 or drop the dosage to 175. I don't know, take the info for what it's worth.

Forgot to mention that he intially wanted me to stretch it out to 200mgs every two weeks, but from what I've read, by that time the test levels would have already dropped so you kinda get a roller coaster effect with your levels.

Guess that's why they say they're practicing medicine. :retard:

                  Thanks for the info

Not with enanthate. That's the way it's prescribed here and that's the way it was intended to be used.

What do mean it's intended to be used that way? Docs used cyp for me

Cyp and enanthate are pretty much the same. For medical purposes long esters were designed to be taken every 2-4 weeks although there seems to be a lot of docs in the US who will prescribe it weekly.

2 shots a week for HRt ? Most cyp is 200mg a ml correct? And test e 250. So 2 shots a week would be between 400-500 mg a week. That's a very high Trt dose. 500mg a week is what most guys here run.

Wish we had HRt docs like that here
