  • Dbol for cutting...

I posted this on another board but i want to get some feedback from you guys too.

recently i read an article in a magazine that encouraged DBOL durring cutting and pre-contest phases. i have never in my life heard of such a thing until reading this the other day, but thought i would get some input from you guys...

the author basically said that Dbol gets such a bad rap for causing acne/water/fat retention because people generally eat like slobs while on it....i refferred back to my own experience with it and yea i guess i did eat kinda crapy. but im sure theres a lotta guys here who have used dbol with clean diets, and im just curiouse to hear what you have to say.

the author was saying that with a high protein/essential fats and low or no carbs diet that dbol could produce a hardness and strength like nothing else, without the normal bloat/acne usually experienced. Even said that he put some body builders on dbol before contests and they were hard and ripped like crazy.

He also said that H2o retention could be kept in check by using Nolva and drinking enough water......now i have done test/dbol before, but i ate like crap and didnt have a well thought out post cycle, so i was disappointed with the results but since then i have kept a strict diet and kept all gains from cycles since......i was planning on doing test/anavar in the near future to put on a few pounds w/o adding bf and lean up mostly, but after reading this im considering doing the test/dbol again but this time doing it right any input?

Ive heard this as well, before..also using drol and suspension up till contest time...honestly I never really looked into the clean aspect of eating while bulking, but Im sure with proper diest and monitoring, you could keep the water levels down...acne is just going to happen in some people regardles of precautions taken

Yes alot of ppl use dbol and drols cause it increases red blood cell count which brings them veins out big time...with the right stuff you can drop the water from it easy...plus pre contest you are already eating very clean.

so is it safe to say that dbols reputation for not being a very keepable drug are due to the water/fat you lose once discontinueing?

dont think i worded that right, ill try again....

basically i want to know if i take out the water/fat retention aspect of a heavy androgen such as dbol useing strict diet and anti-e's, how keepable will the gains be assuming my PCT is correct?

Well really i guess it depends on the diet and what else you are taking bro...personal i am always happy with the gains i keep from drols...i love them...i always run something with it to hold down the water cause i will bloat bad...but strenth goes up alot...i get much fuller looking

I myself just came off a quick cutting cycle of anadrol and enathate..... Luckily I retain very little water.. if any at all.

I shredded up FAST! 7 pounds in 30 days..

It can be done, but diet...esp sodium control is extremely important

the role of the steroid when cutting is simply to maintain mass, so any drug will do that, throw in some arimidex to combat water retention and you are good to go

If using dbol only cutting, I would use femera over arimidex since it has less of an impact on IGF-1 levels.

You can definitely use any type of AAS for dieting.. .one thing that comes into play as mentioned is your personal sensitivity to particular drugs.. .some guys just hold a boatload of water even on anti-e's. . .if you happen to be one of those guys it may not be in your best interest. It is my humble opinion though that many guys just don't know how to control thier diet OR have not experimented enough with carb sensitivity/fat levels in their diet. A lot of people will find that with proper DIET adjustment they will drop a heap of water without even resorting to anti-e's!
keep this in mind when you plan your cycles! I am not one to hold a lot of water on cycle but when I put certain foods in there I bloat up like mad in the face!
                  keep safe

ditto cg, it is imperitive to know how your body responds to all types of diets, it is like driving blind folded, unlikely to produce results you want

this is the main reason why people keep nutrition LOGS, they know for a fact what causes what, otherwise frustrating

good analogy bro:) I don't keep an in depth log so much in the offseason but come contest prep time I know exactly what I was taking in each time. . .

                        Exactly CG,
I for one bloat up like an SOB on dbol, but, I get very little bloat and respond well to drol. I diifer from most in that i prefer drol to dbol. I just dont react well to dbol, or its cousin EQ.

Well, we know that we are opposites in the gear department then! haha. . .I can take oxy for about 1 week and then kerflewie. . .nose bleed city . .very sensitive to the RBC effect of oxy it seems. . .
I can take dbol at 100mg a day though and just grow like a weed with little retention. . .I love those 50mg BD dbols!

Yes, it definitly brings out the veins and pumps. You can basiclly cut with anything as long as the diet is there.
