I've been running Adex during cycle of 500mgs/wk of Test E and it's done really well. However, now I'm going back to normal trt dosages of 250mg/wk Test C until around May when I'll bump the doses back up. I'm also going to run 500IU of HCG and 2.5 IU HGH during the winter to help maintain some size. In the past I've had to discontinue the use of HCG due to very bad acne. However, I feel the acne has been caused by the estrogen spike from running the HCG and lowering my test. I've never ran an ancillary throughout so there's never been anything there to help with all that estrogen. Again, I don't know this for sure but just thinking logically as to what could cause acne on my back so bad when nothing else does. Here's my question...I know over time Adex can have an adverse effect on hdl that Nolvadex does not have. Having been on it a few months now I'm thinking I should switch over. Would 10mg of Nolvadex daily during these winter months be just as effective as day .5mg daily of Adex at minimizing estrogen??

Well the nolvadex won't reduce the estrogen it will only keep it from binding to the receptor. You will still potentially have issues from excess estrogen in your system. Have you tried around 200mg test and no HCG no AI and had blood work with that? That would be your typical TRT protocol.

21 days is retarded as us bro Dr's know, lol. My Dr started with that and dialed it back to finally stay at e7d for desired blood work results. Anything past 10 days and its a frkn hormone roller coaster for me. Happy, sad, tired, lethargic...
As Matt said it really does depend on the Dr and individual. To do it t right you need a good Dr, blood work, and time to see how your body responds to prescribed dose.

Yes, my bloodwork has been fine but with no AI and no HCG but I've read about the benefits of incorporating HCG into the trt protocol and wanted to use it. I just couldn't think of what would be causing the acne I've gotten from in the past if wasn't estrogen related.Originally posted by chuckz28 View PostWell the nolvadex won't reduce the estrogen it will only keep it from binding to the receptor. To all those who say 250ew isn't trt, my gear is UG. Not saying it's under dosed but I'm sure it isn't over dosed so I figured it's probably closer to 200mg than it actually is to the 250 that's on the bottle. Let's not get distracted from the actual question over 50mg ew

I've not done them recently because I'm just coming off 500mg ew for the last 6 months. I know they'd be off the charts and doc would go crazy. I've been hoping my estrogen has been in check though since using Adex daily. Acne seems to correlate with estrogen in my body because once I implemented Adex everyday, the little I had from the test went away.Originally posted by blm View PostWhat are your testosterone and estrogen levels on your blood work?

Stick with the adex.
I'd put money on your test being well above high "normal range" with your cruising dose of 250. Blood work will take the guess work out of your test/estro levels and ratios.
Fwiw, 200 e7d of ugl puts my test level around 1200 (about 400 outside high range +/-).
