The article was written by a guy that is a sprinter and is looking to get on the Olympic team for 2016. Spetzer, one of the doc informants tried to retract what was written based on his supposed testimony. The whole thing sounds suspicious and sort of a bust. Manning used while healing from a surgery. A linebacker used peracet to kill pain. Some clinics have peptide/SERM/SARM cocktails they script to these guys. Nothing really scandalous.
looks like photoshop but it's absolutely not. not that it really matters but if you don't think you need PED assistance at his age with his injuries your nuts. it's all well and good to believe in "good old fashioned hard work" but it's not reality.
DENVER (AP) – The NFL says it is conducting a comprehensive review of allegations that Broncos quarterback Peyton Manning had human growth hormone delivered to his house.
There’s no timetable to complete the investigation, but it’s not expected before the Denver plays Carolina in the Super Bowl on Feb. 7.
League spokesman Brian McCarthy says the inquiry, which began weeks ago, involves reviews of records, interviews and coordination with other agencies.
Al Jazeera reported last month that an intern at an Indianapolis anti-aging clinic was secretly recorded suggesting that Manning’s wife received deliveries of HGH, which is banned by the league. Manning, then with the Colts, was rehabbing from shoulder surgeries.
The intern, Charles Sly, has since recanted his story.
Stop this stupid ban on PEDs and then none of this matters.
I keep hearing Manning fans saying "he seems like a good guy, I don't think he would do that". He is an aging QB in a violent game with 23 year old guys gunning for his job. He would have been done years ago if it wasn't for PEDs. Then the fans would have lost their beloved QB much earlier. Poor guy is having a hip replacement after the SB. He is finished. Banning PEDs is stupid enough, but banning PEDs in recovery situations is even stupider.
I want to see juiced up athletes, fuck the bullshit.
Baseball knew what was going on in the league, but turned a blind eye for many years because people became interested in baseball again. Baseball was on a downward spiral and then McGuire, etc gave it spark. Baseball would be dead if it wasn't for the steroid "scandal".

Well said brother. People get so caught up on false morals it's unbelievable. They enjoy watching enhanced athletes but they don't want to admit they support drug use.
"Deep down in places you don't talk about you want me on that wall, you need me on that wall. You want the blanket of protection in which I provide but you want to question the way in which I provide it." - A Few Good Men
People like things at surface value but god forbid they actually understand how things work under the surface. The level of intensity they love in sport is not attainable or sustainable naturally. They want to be amazed by athletes that can hit like freight trains and then point their ignorant finger at them when the reality of what gives them that ability comes out.
