    I can't remember bro.

I get the urge to sleep around 11:30pm and by 3-4am I'm tossing and turning and by 5am I'm wide awake with no possibility of going back to sleep. Meanwhile my dogs are snoring like helicopters.. Assholes.

4am and here I am. Went to bed at midnight and feel like I've gotten 12 hours of sleep. That's the thing. I'm not tired.

It's a funny thing when on. Some people get sleep apnia and that will really affect your REM.

I like to use Melatonin and Ibuprofin. Works great for sleep. Using Tren is impossible. Night sweats, Tren is hard on everything. Sucks!

Melatonin is natural in the body. There is nothing wrong with it.

yea i get that but many natural chemicals and hormones in the body can fuck you up if you alter their levels, examples being seratonin, dopamine, etc.. Not saying this happens with melatonin just though I remember reading something about it. I'll look for what I read and report back.

Well I'm already prescribed xanax for anxiety and I've always had problems with insomnia so the doctor added trazadone at night to help with sleeping.....

Before the doctor prescribed meds I'd take Unisom and it worked really well. Everyone is different, but if I don't get a good 6-8 hours of sleep I feel like shit for the rest of the day. Tren was the only anabolic that really gave me issues when it came to sleeping.

Just about the same here. I rarely use a sleeping aid but sometimes it can help so you get a good night's sleep.

The Traz can help but taking that all of the time is probably not a good idea unless you REALLY need it. I'm completely against Xanax and anti-anxiety medications unless you really need them.

A simple dose of an adrenalin blocker (Beta Blocker) will usually help in many cases.

The Trazadone is new, I wasn't liking the Lunesta and didn't feel it was doing it's job, at least not for me. As far as anxiety meds, runs in the family, I was first on it at 18 and recently got back on it. There's a lot of history between then and now, but it's what works for me.

I use somatomax every night. If I forget to take it, I'll wake up in 2 hours and be unable to fall back to sleep. Good and bad. Good because it definitely helps but bad because my body needs it to fall asleep. I have been taking it for many years now.

Bigger response to this thread than I thought there would be. Guess hormones really do mess with sleep patterns of most people.

Went to bed at 12am, up at 2:30am, forced myself back to sleep, and back up at 5am. Blah.

Problem with unisom is that when I take it I wake up in morning feeling like the walking dead.

Scary part is, it sounds like even when off cycle the problem continues. I'm wondering if once you start AAS the sleep issues never go away even when off.

I was on risperidone and that helped with my sleep but it elevated my projesterone. They took me off the risperidone and put me on some sleeping pill I can't remember the name of but I was lethargic while taking it for several hours after I woke up. Now I'm taking melatonin, benadryl and trazodone before bed and it's working better than the risperidone had been.

Carry your ass to the doctor. If you can find a trustworthy doctor that you can explain your AAS use, medical history, and then focus on the sleep condition you should be able to find a balance that best suits you. It may take a little time on the exact medication and dosing but that's pretty typical with all meds. As most of us know getting the proper sleep and more importantly REM sleep is not only beneficial to your overall health, but it also helps you to reach your goals in the gym. The old saying, "Eat, Gym, Sleep" never read "Eat, Gym, Stay Awake Restless All Fucking Night Due to Insomnia." Well, maybe that was due to the amount of room on the shirt too, but sleep still remains an integral piece of the overall puzzle.

I take gaba and phenibut. Look up phenibut. It works but you can build a dependence so I take it here and there.
