I'm conflicted here. We we've all heard "time on equals time off" in the same way that we all used to hear about "pyramiding" and the such..
i think if the goal is ultimate health chuck is correct.
if the goal is to be healthy but still make progress I think frank is correct.
my personal opinion based on experience is that by following the "time on equals time off rule is that you take to many steps back. I also think you set yourself up for a dangerous mental roller coaster ride.
IMO the happy medium is blast and cruise. change compounds up for different goals. so for example during the cruise phase you do just the minimal amount of test for health. Add in something like 200mgs per week of deca and gh or mk-677. Lower intensity in the gym during this period and allow the tendons, joints, and ligaments to relax a bit. hell, I'd even propose that we should all take at least 1 month off from the gym per year as tough as that may sound I think it's a really good thing for the body, cns, and mind.

Well as of now there is no way his htpa is restored. He seemed anxious to get back on and if he wants to keep the ability to fully recover then he needs to at a minimum fully recover between each cycle. His choice really. I follow the rule of thumb and I stay off as long as I stay on.

Well telling him to hop back on as soon as his body starts production again doesnt make much sense to me. Why not just get back on now then?Originally posted by chuckz28 View PostThat's the point of pct. If you're going to pct then do it all the way and make sure you're natural production is operational otherwise may as well not come off and pct at all.

Hang in there you'll start feeling better. After my cycle I waited 4 weeks to start pct so my hpta levels were below the range needed to kick production back in. By the end of pct I was feeling better. I feel fine now a couple weeks after ending pct. Training isn't the same obviously but I feel good.
I'm getting blood work in about a month from now so the clomid has time to clear out and not skew my results. If I'm good then great! If I'm low then I'm going to get trt. I don't have the money to go back on cycle so I'm going to wait it out and heal my shoulder in the mean time but it will be nice to know what all my blood work looks like.
Btw the rule of thumb is time off = time on so for you that would mean 10 months off according to most people. To me if blood work says you're good then give it another few weeks and go back on if you wish. You just want to make sure your production kicks fully back in before you start again.

I've been off cycle for about 6 weeks now and it sucks. I've started to flatten out my shoulders are not as "full". I am still holding my strength though.
The clomid is horrible. I feel blank and empty. I'm not happy not sad just a complete absence of any emotion. It's hard to describe.
I really wanna hop back on but don't know how quickly I can since I was "on" for a good 10 months.
Pct is clomid and nolva. Some adex here and there. I'm adding in tribulis tomorrow which is supposed to boost natural test levels so that can't hurt even if it does jack.
My next cycle is gonna be test e/c, deca and dbol.Tags: None
