Test base is not very soluble in much. I wouldn't be surprised to see some crash out. Can't tell by looking if it is actual mold (fungus). I'm with you though; I certainly wouldn't risk it without knowing for sure. Fungal infections in the muscle would be very serious and maybe life threatening. Better safe then 5 lbs heavier and dead...
