No, no proof. I am hypothesizing based on my own chemical knowledge. Most enzymes are very selective or even specific for substrate shape. The methyl group in test is necessary for tight binding to the enzyme's active site. Nandrolone may still bind but if it does, it is with a much weaker binding constant. OK, that doesn't make any sense. They are both nandrolone. There isn't that much difference in the weight of the esters. no idea what you just said but if there is no medical literature that says deca aromatizes differently into estrogen from test then i dont see how you can make this claim. deca isnt a new drug and its been studied extensively. why would there be nothing in the literature about this going back the 60 years or more that deca has been studied?Originally posted by BowHunter View PostNo, no proof. I think what you're really doing is trying to explain away progesterones ability to cause gyno because you don't believe in it so you're coming up with a theory that would explain why adex doesn't take care of gyno caused by deca by saying "oh well the reason an AI doesn't work is because estrogen from deca doesn't use the aromatise pathway".
I call bs brother. Any steroid that converts in any way to estrogen uses the aromatise pathway. If an AI isn't working to prevent gyno that means the steroid is converting or raising levels of something else ie progesterone...

Have you ever heard that supposedly longer esters are more anabolic than short? I'd have to find this but I read this somewhere.

I could not get on the link posted above but the reason long esters are more anabolic than short is beacuse higher blood level concentrations can be achieved over time. Think about half lifves of esthers let's take tren ace and enth 4 example. Ace half life's in 2 days, if one pins every day any amaount (make one up) after a period of time about 15 days,or so, a steady blood level is achieved beacuse the drug is being broken down and replinished at a steady rate on the other hand tren enth at the same amount halfs in about 7 days so at the same amaount (as the ace was pined) one injects enth, 7 days later half the enth remains plus the current aamaount, 14 days later shot three 25% of day 0 shot( still there) 50% of day 7 shot(still ther) and all of day 14 shot, and on and on. It's a mathematical equation. Think of 2 planes taking off one rises to 10 feet and the other goes to 30 thousand feet, if one looked at esther release on a graph the 2 rising lines (planes) would represent blood saturation over time. The longer the esther the higher (and more comfortably) one can achieve higher blood level concentrations of androgens. More is more anabolic.
