Needle Size For Injections

Just curious what you gauge needle you guys use to inject. I've used 23 gauge forever. I thought I remember Bouncer give me shit about it a while back. Any other suggestions?

27g 1/2 inch is all I use. I pull with 18g.

Damn that's a lot smaller than the 23 gauge. Maybe that's why my ass cheeks are pretty much all scar tissue now.

It all depends on the viscosity of the carrier oil. If its thin I'll use 27g. If its thicker I use 25g. If it's made with something thicker like cotton seed oil, I heat the oil up a bit before drawing and injecting.

25g for my asshole injections, 27g for delts or quads.

Unless you’re fat or only inject in glutes, no need for anything longer than a 1/2 inch.

Just about rotation. After awhile your glutes will have tons of scar tissue.

1" for length of pin is more than enough and 1" is optimal usage from many docs as I've been told.

Yes I do use 0.5" in length, but certain times I do wish it were the 1".


Once you develop scar tissue, which will happen. Having s longer needle is best, period. Regardless of how lean anyone is. Getting past the scar tissue is key for the oils to absorb.

I found for me the deaper I go the less pip. Just works for me. 1 " in the quad with prop and I get pip I go half inch deaper zero pip
