Alright, I may me a little off on my thinking here.. but I was just wondering..

Procrit is a drug used for cancer patients to help build up thier blood.

Atheletes often do things (like train at higher elevations) to make thier blood thicker to enhance performance.

Does the drug Procrit have any bodybuilding advantages?

It's not just for cancer patients, it's for anyone who suffers from anemia or low red blood cell count. HIV/AIDS patients as well. When red blood cell increase, it will promote high levels of energy, great for cheating on a Marathon or any intense cardio workout. The same energy can be applied to BB. When AIDS patients complain of chronic fatigue, anemia may be the cause, hemoglobin levels are measured, the cut off is different from lab to lab, women have a lower cut off than men do. Male:<9ng/ml, Female:<12ng/ml. If the levels drop below, they are diagnosed with anemia. More red meat is recommended, Iron supplements if all fails, Procrit is added. Good Luck
