  • CLOMID

Can someone explain how clomid works. My natural test levels have remained low for a long time. My doc has done lots of tests and say my pituitary gland is not responding. Will clomid help this ? Also said testiculat tissue is fine. Thanks kmac

Dude that's exactly what I am going through. My P gland doesn't create enough LH to stimulate Test production. Your doctor will most likely want you to get an MRI to look for a tumor.

Clomid won't help because you your gland isn't producing LH. You will need HRT therapy just like me.

    How old are you?

        Hey Jd
I am 37, have several cycles under my belt, so I thought that was my problem. But my doc said that usally hurts the testicular tissue. He said I could use Androgel. He ruled out tumor because one test showed ??? not hi, its some female stuff. That P gland makes extra of if there is a tumor.

          Buyb,
My understanding is HCG is for testicular tissue, to help bring them back up and functioning. But if P gland is not commuticating with testicles it won't help. kmac

Stay away from the HCG and just use the clomid. The HCG converts to much and will also inhibit your hypogandal axis.

Do you mean prolactin? Hmmm, I have read a lot after my diagnosis and never heard of that test being the tumor test for a PT-gland. A tumor can affect your vision as well if it's large enough, but sometimes they are there and won't cause any excess in any hormone but can shut down others. I have been checked and have no tumors.

I know one guy that likes Andogel, I don't because it can get all over others (wife/girlfriend or both JK) if your not careful, plus you have to do it everyday. I like the Cyp shots.

Your doc will know best what to do. TRT therapy is a lifetime thing, I am not sure if you can use clomid for life for this problem.

Thanks for posting it's nice to talk to others that are going through the same thing. Hope it all goes well for you.

                J.D.
