  • Anyone ever hit a nerve?

Well about a week ago i hit 2cc's of EQ in my delt. Well i've been doing this for a couple wks and i have no sorness or swelling the next day hitting 2cc's of the EQ in the delt. Well the last time about a wk ago i hit on my left delt, as i put the syringe in the delt i saw my muscle twitch. And that has happened 1 other time to me on my leg and my whole leg twitched and the next day it was sore as fuck. Well its been a week and its a fucking knot in my shoulder. And its just not 1 little spot. Its like i hit a nerve in a muscle and the muscle i hit is swollen. So for instance the length of the muscle where it starts from the top and runs down to the begining of my bicept is ALL swollen and hard as a rock. So i guess i hit a nerve?

Yeah, sounds like it bro. I hit a nerve a couple of times in my quads. Usually sore for a few days but nothing to bad yet.

That red really is annoying but I will try and answer as best I can.lol. You really shouldnt get a knot just because you hit a nerve. Sounds like it just may have been a bad shot and you came close to a nerve on the way out. If you really hit a nerver, you would know it!!

Well hitting a nerve is the only thing i could come up with. Cause its swolled up bad like i would've hit T400 in the delt. But it was only EQ. And its also swolled up hard as a rock.

Sounds to me like to just knicked a nerve and got an infection as well. You may need to get some anti-biotics. good luck

Well the lump dosent really have anything to do with a nerve. Did you inject deep enough?

you might have nicked a nerve, which caused you move the pin in your delt. when ever i don't go straight in and straight out i get a lump, sore as hell, and swollen.

i can say you did notnit a nerve cos if you did it would of felt like having a red hot shock and pins and needle and some times it swells up more or less instantly and can be worse i hid a nerve in my bi and it was bloody sore i can tell you but the worsed bit is i had to go to the doc,s and he told me thats what i done and the best bit is i have no felling in half my arm from elbow to wrist doc said it could take up to 6 months to heal and that is if it dose as i hit the nerve good and proper as when it happened it was that that much of a shock i pulled the needle out that fast i nackered the nerve even more so whatch what you are but if you put it deep enough into the muscle you should not touch the nerves

                      zero

You generally get that twitching/tightening sensation when your graze a nerve. But I honestly dont belive that the knot has anything to with nerve.

The best possible explanation for the fluid buildup in your delt is thast when you graze the nerve and it caused a muscular spasm, you tore some of the muscle tissue with the pin. Now it is inflamed and swollen. Ibprofen is a good anti inflamitory and should help withe the swelling...But if you are also on orals right now.. I wouldnt use to much of the IB.

i hit or get close to nerves on tris 1-out of -5 shots but get no adverse reaction other than a little muscle twitching. and maybe slightly more sore.

i feel like ive come close cause i get the muscle twitching, but my buddy hit one full on. he said it hurt so bad and before he could think, he automatically jerked the needle out, like a reflex.

I find it helps me to make sure i insert the needle slowly and carefully. I think i can tell when i am going to get too close to a nerve, and i avoid the trouble that way. I havent hit a nerve in some time, so just something else to think about.

                              good luck
