G$D D&MN it. You would not beleive the luck ole Ranger just had. Fuck me, sorry just can't edit that one..lol. Anyway I do an injection on Sunday in my Right Thigh as usual, 3cc's. Went in fine. By morning it hurt so bad I couldn't even walk. It looked nice and red but I had no fever. Still this time it hurt worse than usual. I had never received this amount of pain from an injection before. So Tuesday Morning I go to the Doc. I can barely walk. I tell him what's up, so he has me sit on a table and takes out the ole 16 gauge harpoon and say's this may hurt a bit. Sticks that fucker in my thigh and says if I aspirate puss we have a problem. He aspirated and sure enough nasty ass puss and blood came out. So he gives me a local and cuts my thigh open and removes everything. Then I end up spending the last 2 nights in the hospital under IV antibiotics to kill the infection. It really hurt. Now I got a fucking hole in my thigh about the size of a nickel. It looks nasty. It's all narly and shit. I gotta change the bandages regularly. He said if I had ignored it, it could have spread and I could have lost my legg. He gave me a little shit about the roids but not much. He was more concerned with my welfare. So let this be a lesson to all you bodybuilders in cyberspace. I am a long term Vet and I never posted my problem on the board. I had a gut instinct, went with it and was right on the money. Remember this shit can be dangerous. Always listen to your body. Don't worry about what people you don't know are saying, trust your instincts. Cause these things fucking hurt. Abcess'es are no joke. I stll can't walk with out a limp and forget about bending my knee completely. Can't do that either. Said it will take a few weeks to heal up completely but when it does, I am going to be a helluva lot more carefull with my cycles. Cause I am not going through this shit again.

    Stay Safe guys!!!

and were other precautions takin before the injection(clean spot, fresh pin) if so then when looking back what do you think other than the above ques.. could of caused this. This detail info.. will be an addition for the board to know what not to do

You guys are right I should have given more details. Just a little to pissed to think about it right away..lol. Anyway, injection preocedure was flawless brand new needle, swiped area with alcohol as usual. I am a licensed paramedic so I know how to give injections. Everything went in just as always. But the next day the pain was just to immense. I had two different types of gear in my syringe: 175mg ProFina (100mg Suspension, 75mg Tren), 300mg Test Suspension (Red Star), 250mg Deca (Red Star). The doc said it was an Anerobic Bacteria infection. Personaly I don't think it came from the red star stuff. I have used there stuff for awhile with no problems. But you never can tell. Just be carefull guys. No matter how much experience you have you can still get an abcess.

Bro, if you used sterile technique, then you just ruled out all causes except for the gear itself. Clearly there was/is a problem with it. Agreed?

Is there a way to be extra safe and sterilize it via heat or something?

Other than absolute "sterile technique" (proper site and pin prep), no.

I hope you get better. Could it be the mixing of them that caused it???

I had same thing happen about 10 yrs ago!,It was my left quad. In my case it took about 2 wks. to start to hurt. So you got a really bad infection. Mine was so bad Doc said infection was size of a grapefruit,OUCH!!!.In my case I screwed up! I used a old pin!! (What a DOPE!!) Site was so big, had to make two holes about 3 in. apart. Have never had a problem since then. Doc said same thing, could have lost leg............graybass

Incorrect! If you were to filter all your juice with a .2 micron filter into a sterile vial you should have no problems and if you do your injection procedure was off. As others will surely agree a .2 micron will knock out the bad stuff in the juice if there is any.

Your statement is based on an assumption that removal of particulate matter of an unacceptable size, and consequent transfer of the remaining solution to a sterile vial will make the gear "safe". If the problem with most foreign manufactured AS was incorrect particulate matter size, your staement would be true. However, if the gear is not produced with correct sterile technique to begin with, and has become infiltrated with unknown contaminates, then neither further reduction of particle size (again, assuming the problem is particle size) nor transfer to a new sterile vial will render it "safe". Ya pays yer money and ya takes yer chances.
