  • Pre-contest, eating the right turkey

I've been reading that as most pro's get closer to a show they only consume turkey as there main protein source. The thing I don't get is that turkey has a shit load of sodium, which makes you hold water. Is there a turkey that has no sodium that I don't know about? Because of its high sodium I consume many protein shakes throughout the day but only eat turkey three times a day. Does anybody have knowledge, especially on sodium and pre-contest?

hmmm, I will ask but that is probably just the article. .and it was probably not even written by ronnie. . .one of my friends hangs out with him A LOT and I will see what he really eats. . .it probably is more like a lot of chicken but as long as you are getting the required protein I don't really see any problem with Turkey or any other lean meat source. . .ostrich is good! I used to eat that all the time when I lived in portugal.
