Funny you mentioned his nipple. From his side pose, well above his nipple there appears to be a small divot in his chest. From the straight on shots, this area looks like it is bruised.

Any idea what has caused that or what it is?

lower back? his lat insertions are slightly high, nothing you can do about that. i think he looks better then cutler from the back. cutler has no waist. his lats go from his ass up. not aesthetically pleasing IMO.
