That guy swam from Long Beach to Catalina Island one time. It takes fifty minutes in a boat doing 18 knots! An all time great. I met him once at a California Angels game years ago.

There was a great "Life of Reilly" column by Rick Reilly on Jack Lalanne in the 1/19/04 issue of Sports Illustrated.

He is the original stud - still doing stuff that will give pause to a man haf his age.
