I agree with Dana. He made bodybuilding fun. His personality and size was something that was good for bodybuilding. Would I rather look like Flex wheeler in his prime.. Sure. But Markus was a lovable giant.

Absolutely. On top of his freakish size, he came in bigger and bigger every year. He practically made everyone on stage look like a child.

If you watch his videos, he was funny as shit too. Going around farting and burping. Playing jokes and cracking jokes. He definitely made bodybuilding funny
