Well you saw what happened this year when Kai tried to play the size game, also if you listen to the commentary from Jay he clearly says he's made big improvements since he stopped trying to chase Ronnie

Bigger is better. Yes, I had Roseanne Barr in 4th place with Dexter in 5th and Victor in 6th. I'm not against Jay Cutler, he sometimes gets it right, but it just seems sometimes that guys can actually ruin their physique by getting too big. Funny problem to deal with when everyone else is trying to gain that extra 10-15 lbs to really look good. The Olympia's gotten so crazy that the NPC looks much better now. Branch looked a lot better at 215 lbs than 250 lbs. A lot more athletic, like he could actually run a mile or two. Now, no way at all. Just my opinion.

What people have to understand is that this is a competition. Its not about how good an individual looks in an isolated photoshoot, or even just about how they look in a posing routine on their own. Its also not about who you would prefer to look like. Its a competition which means people are judged against each other. I thin the gift has an amazing physique just like I used to think lee labrada had an amazing physique, but I understoof why they didn't win the O. Its not just about shoulder to waist ration no way, but taking that as an example; the gift and cutler probably have about the same or similar shoulder to waist ratio but the fact is Jay is bigger, thicker, heavier and at least as conditioned and muscular. Personally if I could pick a physique to be like up ther this year it would be Wolfe, gift, dex in that order, but I understand why they didn't win.
