just to be clear I'm not saying ron was good for all his wins, and I'm generally a bigger fan of Flex's physique. But I cannot justify Flex beating ronnie here, ron is just a bigger more exagerated physique with elements that flex don't have, prefer flexes midsection and shoulder shape, glute ham tie in, thats it

I don't understand these guys who blaberring about bodybuilding shows are won from the back bs. I don't give shit what kind of back you have if he has shit gut, gyno chest, shitty legs, how or why should he win? Coleman's legs were always big and lean but he didn't have the deep cuts like everybody else did. So how do you give the show to a guy who has good back but not so good legs? IMO legs are much more important than back since it is half of your body.

True, very true, but coleman doesn't look bad that year, sure flex'abs are a litte prettier but he's got no lats from the front, not enough there to over compensate for colemans back.
If shows were won from the front, Gary Strydon and Dennis wold woulda had an O
