Levrone sent Dave Palumbo and update photo of a rear double bicep pose. Kevin told Dave to post it online. Dave said "are you sure?". Kevin said "Yeah baby, post it". (Kevin initiated everything)
Dave the put his RXmuscle water mark on the pic and posted it online.
Immediately, people said that Levrone looked small and flat. Shawn Ray even suggested that Levrone shouldn't even compete.
Kevin then decided to lie.
Levrone accused Dave of posting old pics. As if this whole thing was Dave's fault. Dave has been Levrone's #1 advocate since Levrone announced his comeback.
Dave discussed this whole scenario on his radio show. He wasn't mad. He just said that Kevin was embarrassed. And Dave, being a good friend, had to calm Kevin down regarding Shawn Ray's comments & bodybuilding forum members.
But the fact that a 52 year old man lied about a situation that he created is quite sad. And of course, there is a debate about whether Kevin has lied about his age or not. Who knows. It's all very strange.
On top of all of this, Kevin now claims that he surrounds himself with lots of weapons as he sleeps during his precontest dieting phase, reminding himself that he is "at war".Leave a comment:

Agree with you Chuck in that Victor probably won't make much of an impact, even in his prime I never thought he was as great as everyone was saying. Disagree in that Levrone will smoke Cedric and Rhoden though. As for Ramy, he will not only have huge mass advantage but a pretty good shape as well. His body shape can somewhat cover up a little lack of condition. I do agree on Mcarver, his stomach is strange on stage. I'll say 6th or 7th if Levrones legs match his upper body and he comes looking close to the levrone of old. If the legs are lagging than hell he could finish dead last or close to it. I don't think there is anything on earth that Levrone can do to make the top 3 unless he is given a gift and it's already decided.
The question is, how close can Levrone come to matching his prime. I don't think he will be able to pull it off at 52. I don't think he'll be close enough to his prime. It goes without saying that prime levrone could win the show but this isn't 1997...
Regardless what he's already achieved at his age is amazing. I'll be pulling for him.Leave a comment:

The Lui is over rating Victor. I don't think he should have even won his last show and there are other pros that feel the same. I don't believe he is at the level of his 2007 showing. His waist is larger and his conditioning isn't as good. Maybe some better muscle than previous but not enough for top 5.Leave a comment:

He's already got sunken cheek bones. I bet he comes in better condition than the majority of the top ten and with his mass and small waist on top he'll be top 6.
He smokes Cedric and his muscle bellies are better than Rhodens, and most of those other guys condition always sucks. Just watched Compton live chat and he still looks 4 weeks out, Roelly always looks like shit on stage, Ramy has yet to prove he can come conditioned, McCarver's got some recently enlarged belly action and still a weak back. We will see come show time but at this point if I had money I'd bet Levrone makes top 5 and I personally put him 3rd or 4th.Leave a comment:
