    Re: Dream job???

I would have liked to have been a phsychologist. There are a lot of areas of phsychology to work in that appeal to me...I'd have probably enjoyed something with children by day and sex therapist by night. ;)

Are you looking for ideas for a career change, Jarhead?

Im majoring in Chemical Engineering, but my dream job would have to be a pro surfer. You get to travel to all the coolest places and do what I love most.

How did I know you would say Sex Therapist? I could defiantly see you doing that.

I am looking for a career change. I really do not enjoy my work at all. It’s not something I would have seen myself doing when I was younger. I went to my 10 year high school reunion last year and I was the biggest shock. Nobody thought I would have computer/desk job.
It really got me thinking I’ve always enjoyed doing things with my hands, building things, and not sitting around all day. I figure I’m still young enough to make a career change without to much difficulty, But I’m not sure what I want to do.
The real hard thing about making a career change is starting a new career and making at least the same money I’m making now.

Wow...I really can't answer this question right off. I have been working for 22 years and only have had 3 different jobs. This last one for 15 years. I have not even allowed myself to dream like that in so long, I can't really say.

I'll think about it and post again :)

                1) Wakeboard instructor (i do it part time now but need more clients and longer summers to make good $$$ at it)

                1) High School Baseball Coach

                2) Professional Sports Handicapper. I know a guy that is what he does. He spends 2 hours a day handicapping the games from his own system, compares them to the vegas lines, and pounds the discrepancy games. Makes about $500 a day.
