Bro there is little harm with your weed smokers i'd rather someone high on pot be out on the road than somebody just had a half bottle of 100% proof vodka. Pot heads generally drive slow and watch out for cops lol but if it were my choice and we could ban one and keep one id ban alcohol in a second alcoholism is as bad as heroin addiction. I will admit if you dont smoke weed you'll be more productive have more energy you will get less done in life in general for MOST but some people smoke every day and function normally just a lil slower lol

Good. Most important thing is the decriminalization. How much energy and money is lost prosecuting and jailing users, and how many lives are needlessly destroyed by the criminal record for something that is objectively less harmful than tobacco or alcohol.

By the way, my home state of Oregon just passed a bill decriminalizing usage of ALL drugs. We are always ahead of the rest of the country. First to death with dignity, first to marijuana legalization, and first to complete decriminalization of all drug use.

so let me ask this do you think if all drugs were legal do you think it would cause substance abuse to go up or down? Back in the 70's you could buy methamphetamine right across the counter

Let's be clear. What Oregon voted for is decriminalization of drug use. The drugs are still illegal. But users and people who possess small amounts of drugs will go too treatment instead of prison.

This is not a new concept. Google drug decriminalization in Portugal. Portugal realized that drug treatment is more effective and cheaper than incarceration for users. The drugs themselves are still illegal. Their results are amazing. All kinds of drug use actually plummeted. And HIV transmission rates decreased. And crime did NOT increase.
