  • OLED's Are Insane...

I kinda thought it was all marketing bs. I thought to myself.. "I already have a 4k LED tv that looks great, why would I want OLED".

Guys, it's not even close. Holy fuck is this tech insane. The level of color punch and inky blacks this tv has it just unbelievable.

I grabbed a Sony Bravia A8H the other day on sale and holy fucken shit balls your eyes just cannot believe the quality, clarity, color, and accuracy of the PQ. This paticular tv literally has a soundbar with 2 woofers built in. Sony is unique though in that the sound literally comes out of the screen. It's called acoustic surface audio and its sounds great. The sounds on this set gets louder and has deeper base than my Bose Soundbar lmao.

If you are on the fence about making the jump to OLED... don't be. It's a massive upgrade over standard LED/LCD 4k sets.

Watching a movie or series in 4k Dolby Vision HDR on an OLED is something that has to be seen to be believed.

My phones camera and most likely the screen you view these 2 pics on do not do this tv justice. It looks even more insane in person. But this gives you an idea. The dark areas stay absolute black no matter how bright other parts of the image are on screen. Don't mistake this for losing detail in dark scenes of a movie. Just the opposite. You see every detail in dark scenes far better than standard LED/LCD tech.

ps5 games look nuts. it's not only 4k, it's not only 60 frames per second which makes the images crazy smooth, but a lot of what people overlook is HDR. it looks insane on the proper set. the problem is HDR tends to make dark scenes and colors look washed out on LED/LCD sets. basically HDR makes black colors look more like dark grey on LED/LCD technology. OLED is a different technology completely and can turn on an off each individual pixel. so basically whenever there is a scene where its supposed to be a black color an OLED is capable of absolute black. it's sounds like a bunch of tech bs but when you see it all come together in front of your eyes you sort of sit there thinking.. "this is some next level shit". even my girl who doesn't give 2 fucks about tech geek shit said the other day "that's insane how it looks" when we were watching the series Ratched on netflix.

the LG LED 4k set that was in the living room now lives in the bedroom. :D it's a great set as well but once you see OLED everything else looks washed out and faded.
