      All I know is that my woman was not yet in the UK when I boughtmy xbox. . .I played halo 1 for 14 hours straight with no breaks. . .on legendary is RULES. . . .can't wait for the 2nd one. . .has anyone played panzer dragoon? it is awsome.

                IMO a good $1,500 computer with a hot video card (Radeon 9700/9800) should handle all of the new games quite nicely. You would do it for even less money if you built your own computer. (I speak from experience here.) Max Payne 1 is a modestly demanding game. If it plays smoothly on your machine, you may only need to upgrade your video card.
