I liked the way they worked it in with the song, but it just didn't belong in a superbowl half time show with kids watching.

Nice role models we have for kids.

:D I was wondering if anyone was gonna mention that many leather corsets have removable cups~

It is kinda crazy BUT. Those people saying that "its bad for the kids". What dream world do you live in? First of all, all you could see was a boob flop out for about 1.2 seconds. Most kids have seen far worse and the kids that havent are most likely so young they had no idea what happened anyway. I do agree that there is a time and a place but anyone who is actually upset about this needs to get a life IMO.

Yeah, what's worse simulated fonication for five minutes or one second of a partial naked boob that looks like a white blob cause so many cameras are flashing.

Sexuality is rampant in a majority of media, so what's new.

I am upset by it , and I have a life .... The point is whats next ... okay , everyone says this is no big deal ... then what next year ? live sex acts ? how far is too far ....it is my choice what my children are exposed too ... not Janets or Justins or MTV or CBS ,,, if I had known that was planned ,, they would have been watching something different at that time . But that choice was not given to me . the parent . it was made by someone looking to shock . and my point is this .... I am in charge of what , and when my children are exposed to certain things ... I know that in todays world they will be exposed to things that are tough to explain ,, but it is my reponsibility to prepare them for those things , and last night I was not given the oppurtunity to determine the timing ..

It is the nature in which the boob popped out that is wrong. It's like saying to our kids that it's ok for boys to pull up girls shirts and expose their chests. Maybe you'll understand when you have kids...maybe not.

In my home my daughter has seen my brests but that is different. Getting changed with friends is different. Even on the beach if a woman was topless that would be different. But to have a guy forcefully show a woman's private parts is NOT acceptable!

Oh and when my 6th grade daughter came home from school this afternoon, after she kissed me hello, the first thing out of her mouth was about this incident. All of the kids in school were talking about it. She said that what happend was wrong. I explained that it was just a publicity stunt. She repeated, "Well, it's still wrong! What's wrong with people? That doesn't belong on tv when kids are watching."

                      hey teek,

nice too see you posting hope all is well

anyways, I'm sincerely curious how you explain all the simulated fornication dancing, and then are shocked when this happens

i happen to agree with you, what is next?

i have no idea, just know it is something

could see this coming for a long time, when meanness and hurting people became entertainment ( ie springer, others, leading us too reality shows ) that was acceptable, well, it's just not a good standard to set period, people will always move to the lowest denominator

it is one of the few sad things about our present society that I don't agree with

The dancing was a bit over the top as well ... but ..... my kids are at an age that they dont understand the fornication ,, they like the spectacle of the thing .. the dancing the lights , the music ... so they dont catch the same nuances that we as adults do ..... I am not a prude here .. I happened to dig seeing her chest , I searched the internet very thoroughly for close ups (lol) I just do not think it has to be done at halftime of the most watched television programming of the year , at 8:30 at night

Also, let me clear up what im trying to say. I think in general that we as americans take things way to serous. Do you guys remember when the 9/11 attacks happend how everything that we thought important became kinda stupid? Thats all im saying, I just think people need to relax a little.

Christ sakes it took me an hour to remeber how to quote ....

it is not the breast so much as it is the aftermath ... my kid who is in kindergarten .. came home and asked me today what a tit was she said some boy at school was saying he saw Janet Jacksons tit ... now obviously he probably didnt know what it was either ..... and that is my point .. he should'nt!... whats next this same kid decides to do what he saw on the halftime show to some girl on the playground ? maybe my girl ? maybe yours someday big guy ? .... you would hunt the little fuck down and pound him ,,, don't deny it .... it is all about limits ... if I was not upset about this ... then what does upset me .. what is too much for my child ? the choice should be mine ..

The superbowl isn't geared towards kids, it is an adult event, adults have parties, they drink, etc...

I'm still not justifying it, but some of you people are acting like big bird god sodomized during a sesame street marathon on PBS.
Your right ,, but the halftime show is what the kids watch
