Another thing it's not just about the kids even though that is a priority, It's all peoples moral or individual standards, they took peoples rights away.

The Superbowl is one of those shows every one can watch from all walks of life, from children to your 80 year old grandmother. They took there right of what they choose to view, no one was given the option to view a breast, if they wanted to see a bare breast there's plenty of channels to look for that, But it should not be thrust upon people who don't ask for that.Very rude.

I think we all agree here one way or the other. The superbowl and football in general is supposed to be child friendly. There is no doubt about that. Many parents watch football with there kids every sunday and the NFL knows this. Doing this over the superbowl was very bad timing BUT they got what they wanted. Like cory said, look at all the talk about this. Look on the tv, the newspapers, the net, everyone is talking about it. Janet has her new album comming out soon and everyone is talking about her. I think what people need to do instead of talking about it all day is actually do something if your so upset and write letters to MTV, CBS, NFL and the FCC. It does nobody any good to keep going on and on about it like this. You are all playing into Janets hands IMO. Younger kids that had never heard of her before now know her name and the next time there in the cd store they might just think of this incident.

P.S. Cory, dont let me ever hear you say Janet looks like an ape. Are you crazy dog? Girl is fuc*ing slamming.

I am also a parent, and worry everyday. Honestly I do. I do understand that parents need to exert what is wrong and right in their young childrens' minds. It was performance. It may have been in poor judgement due to familization of the Superbowl. I still think it is far from criminal, and I think there other things that should warrant just as much attention. I agree with not allowing an impressionable mind think that "forceably' removing clothing from a woman OR male is okay. Its not. Neither is trying to hit someone so hard with only your own body that it makes snot bubbles appear from the person's nose or knocks them out in everyday life, but in football it is expected from the defense. Does anybody remeber Joe Theisman getting his lower leg rearranged by Lawrence Taylor??? They showed the replay of it enough. Parents draw the lines.

not that I agree with what happened over the superbowl half time.. but honestly if that's the worst most traumatizing thing your kid is seeing/experience in todays fucked up world you should be thanking god... out of place yes ... should we lose sleep over it no... tell your children it's an example of a declining society .. it's a shitty deal but nobody said life was going to be good.

Kids are exposed to thousands and thousands of violent TV programs each year, and they play violent computer games, while daddy plays with his AK47 at the dinner table. I have seen the so called controversial scene and to me it seemed more like a dance movement than the violent expose of a piece of skin of a woman.

Which one is worse, I ask you.

Go to the beach with the kids and they will see thousands of bare tits without ornaments.

LOL I heard this joke today about it

When in the interview of John Fox for ESPN Sportscenter how he liked the half time show... he said

I would have gone for two.

Gotta agree here, a tasteless publicity stunt, but there is so much horrible shit on TV, then 5 minutes of a womans breast.

You can try and control it all you want, but look what society is turning into, we live in candyland, compared to the rest of the world, everyone is outraged over a breast, when everyday, children have to watch buses exploded in terrorist attacks, and things of that nature...I dunno how many of you have travled to 3rd world countries, but lemme tell you something, we ALL have it easy here

Censorship should be determined by a parent, certain things should be seen too young, but I think everyone is taking this a tad too far...some flesh was exposed, kids gotta learn one day, and Im sure many of us, learned about the birds and the bees on the playground

                            Ok, thats my rambling
